To cap off Week 5 of the NFL season, we have an AFC West showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams are coming off a win in Week 4, with the Raiders getting their first win of the season against the Denver Broncos.
Here, we’ll create a Same Game Parlay at DraftKings Sportsbook. With a Same Game Parlay, we’re selecting multiple events within this one game to bet on.

With these two teams coming off commanding wins and posting 30+ points, we’ll lean under here. This is a division game, so we expect this game not to be a massive offensive explosion.
The Raiders scored 32 last week, but most came from running back Josh Jacobs, who had over 140 rushing yards and two scores.
However, the Chiefs allow less than 66 rushing yards per game, which is the lowest in the league.
So, the Raiders will need to resort to the passing game for the most part. With wide receiver Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, Mack Hollins, and tight end Darren Waller, this is undoubtedly an excellent group to look toward.
However, the Chiefs are getting a running game involved more, led by rookie running back Isiah Pacheco. He had 11 carries for over 60 yards last week.
The Chiefs should have minimal trouble scoring while the Raiders try to catch up but fall short.

Our prediction for the final score in this one is Chiefs 30, Raiders 20. The running game may have issues against the Chiefs, but the Raiders passing game is solid enough to get something going.
Carr should see north of 40 attempts in this one if it goes how we think it will. He has one game this season of more than 40 attempts. In that game, he had 303 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
The Raiders have scored more than 20 points in each game this season except for Week 1, where they score 19.
They’ll be able to get the passing game to some effect here and over 19.5.
With the Chiefs finally getting a running game, we could see a slightly more balanced Chiefs offense. Mahomes should still score multiple touchdowns, but the running game may result in shorter yards to pass for.
Mahomes hasn’t gone over 279.5 passing yards since Week 1, and now with Pacheco getting things going, Mahomes can still get three touchdown passes while passing for 250 passing yards or less.
This isn’t the Chiefs offense of old—Mahomes doesn’t need to throw for 400 yards to keep the Chiefs in games.
