Monday Night Football Week 6 SGP: Best Same Game Parlay Bets

  • Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson saw 23 targets in Week 5.

  • The Jets head into Week 5 with a new interim head coach, Jeff Ulbrich, and a new play-caller, Todd Downing.

  • The Jets' defense has allowed just two passing and two rushing touchdowns all season.

On Monday Night Football in Week 6 of the NFL season, the 2-3 New York Jets are hosting the 3-2 Buffalo Bills. The Jets and Bills are both 0-2 in their last two games. The Bills were 3-0 to start the season, and in the two games before the most recent two, the Jets were 2-0.

The Bills dropped to 3-2 after quarterback Josh Allen completed just nine of 30 passes in a 23-20 road loss to the Houston Texans.

Below is a four-leg Same Game Parlay for this game with odds of +750, featuring players like Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, and Josh Allen. All odds are courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook, where you can get your first wager back up to $1,000 if it loses when you use our promo code “WSN1000.”

Best MNF Same Game Parlay Week 6

Breece Hall Over 52.5 Rushing Yards (-117) at Caesars Sportsbook

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Hall and the running game for the Jets in general.

Hall has 19 carries for 27 yards over the last two games.

In Week 4, he averaged 0.4 yards per carry. In Week 5, he averaged 2.6 yards per carry.

So, what will turn these fortunes around?

The Bills allow 23 carries for nearly 109 yards per game (4.72 yards per carry).

They’ve also allowed three running backs to go over this number, and in Week 1, Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner went for 50 yards.

We also have to consider the coaching changes.

The new playcaller is Todd Downing.

While the plays themselves won’t change, Downing is someone who will likely dial up the room more often than not.

Looking at his resume, he was the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, the Titans were fifth in the NFL in rushing yards with 141.3 yards per game. In 2022, they were 13th with 125.4.

Hall is arguably the Jets best offensive piece, and I’d bet Darling knows that.

Take the over.

Garrett Wilson Over 5.5 Receptions (-127) at Caesars Sportsbook

In case you hadn’t heard, Wilson saw an astonishing 23 targets in Week 5 in London against the Minnesota Vikings.

While I certainly don’t believe that’ll happen again here, Wilson will continue to be involved.

In addition to Downing’s background in the running game, he’s been the Jets passing game coordinator since 2023, so he certainly knows the value of Wilson.

In Week 5, Wilson caught 13 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. In the two weeks prior, when the running game was performing poorly, he had five receptions in each game.

Going back to Week 1, he saw 11 targets and had six catches.

I think the Jets will run the ball better here, opening up more opportunities for receptions for Wilson here.

Josh Allen Over 208.5 Passing Yards (-117) at Caesars Sportsbook

Turning things over to the Bills offense, I like Allen to go for 209 yards passing or more.

Looking at the Jets per game logs against opposing quarterbacks, they’ve allowed 209 yards or more only once this season, which was in Week 1.

However, if you look at the other quarterbacks they’ve faced, I certainly have more faith in Allen.

These quarterbacks include Will Levis, Jacoby Brissett, and Bo Nix. In Week 5, Sam Darnold had 203 yards.

Allen has completed 55.2% or less of his pass attempts in each of the last two weeks.

Looking back to last season, Allen went over this line in both games.

Yes, it was a different team, but there’s a level of familiarity against the Jets.

Allen is averaging 7.2 yards per attempt. To reach 209 yards, he’d need to attempt about 29 passes to get there.

Opposing quarterbacks average 28 attempts per game against them.

Look for Allen to go over with the help of running back James Cook. The Jets have allowed 44 receiving yards or more to running backs in three of five games this season.

Jets +6.5 (-238) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Jets line for this game is +2.5, but I’ve boosted it here to +6.5.

We’re sacrificing some line value, but I feel better about this line compared to 2.5.

This will be interim Jeff Ulbrich's first game, and if the last couple of seasons have shown us anything, it’s that there’s certainly something to the “interim head coach bump” with betting.

In 2023, Antonio Pierce took over for the Las Vegas Raiders and won the game the week after.

In 2022, Jeff Saturday and the Indianapolis Colts got a win in his first week.

The Jets do play strong defense, allowing just two passing touchdowns this season.

The Bills allow 215 passing yards and just over one passing touchdown per game.

Between these two teams, the Bills have the weaker unit, especially when matched up against running backs. They allow more than 4.7 yards per carry, and the pass defense, while still fairly strong, has allowed six passing touchdowns compared to the Jets’ two.

Look for the Jets to keep it close enough to cover this number or even win outright.
