MNF Picks for Bengals vs Cowboys

Over 49.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

This may be the safest bet of the entire weekend. The primary reason for that is the state of the Bengals. Joe Burrow and the offense have scored 27+ points in four consecutive games. However, that success is being undone by Cincinnati’s terrible defense, which has allowed 34+ points in three straight games. The result for the last five games has been going over this total.

The Cowboys will have Cooper Rush starting behind center with Dak Prescott on IR. The veteran backup isn’t great, but he is getting better. He has led the team to wins the last two weeks, with help from Rico Dowdle. The running back has been incredible over the last two weeks, rushing 41 times for 198 yards (4.8 YPC).

We expect both offenses to be at their best with this game being indoors. The result will be an easy cover of this total from Caesars.

Cooper Rush Over 230.5 Passing Yards (-117) at Caesars Sportsbook

Cooper Rush wasn’t great last week against the Giants, but he easily surpassed this total in the previous two games. We expect him to do so again this week as he faces a Bengals defense allowing the sixth-most passing yards per game (241) this season.

Rush’s yardage total was lower last week, partly due to the Cowboys jumping out to a big lead. That led to them pounding the ground and working the clock. That, combined with a solid Giants defense, resulted in a quiet day for the quarterback. That won’t be the case this week, as the Bengals' offense will put up big points, forcing the Cowboys to work through the air to keep pace.

Chase Brown Over 71.5 Rushing Yards (-113) at Caesars Sportsbook

After an up-and-down first half of the season, Chase Brown has found his groove as the Bengals’ top back. Over his last four games, he is averaging 4.3 YPC and has found the end zone twice. That run has come against some good defenses, including the Ravens, Chargers, and Steelers.

The Cowboys are allowing the league's second-most rushing yards per game (147.6) this season. The unit allowed the Giants to rush 21 times for 116 yards (5.5 YPC) last week. Those numbers would have been even worse if New York hadn’t gone down 27-10.
