It honestly feels odd to give up these many points to take the Broncos, but it is one of the best bets of the weekend. This Denver team has been incredible on both sides of the ball over the last two weeks, outsourcing their opponents 67-25.
A big reason for the team’s offensive success is the development of Bo Nix. The rookie has looked like an NFL MVP over his last three games, completing 71% of his passes for 795 yards and eight touchdowns without an interception. He has also grown more comfortable in the pocket, rushing for just five yards during that span.
Despite the win, the Browns' pass defense didn’t have a great game on Thursday. While the unit has done a decent job limiting yardage, they are allowing a passer rating of 100.1. That will be a big problem as they hit the road to face a red-hot rookie.

Winston remains one of the most erratic quarterbacks in the league, but he will be set up for success tonight. Denver’s defense will shut down a struggling Nick Chubb and the Cleveland backfield, leading to another 45+ pass attempts for the quarterback. He has surpassed that mark in two of his last three games, surpassing this total in each.
The Broncos lead the NFL in sacks, but Winston has found ways to thrive under pressure this season. He saw that when he was sacked six times by the Chargers earlier this month. The veteran shook it off to still manage 235 yards through the air.
While it may not be pretty, expect Winston to surpass this total in prime time easily.

As we mentioned above, Nix has been on fire over the last three weeks. He has thrown for more than one touchdown in each outing. One of those came against a very talented Kansas City defense, showing the rookie’s growth is for real.
Cleveland’s pass defense has been decent at limiting yardage through the air, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. They rank in the bottom ten of the league in both passer rating and yards per attempt (7.9). The Browns allowed Russell Wilson to find success in bad weather but will now face a hot quarterback on a crisp and clear Colorado night.
