In Week 13, the Giants travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Both teams have struggled tremendously in 2024 and have lacked good quarterback play.

This game features two of the worst teams in the league, and there aren’t any NFL MVP candidates in sight. Therefore, we are taking the under at 37.5. According to Cold Hard Football Facts, these teams rank in the bottom seven in the Quality Stats Power Rankings. 

This ranking system has successfully predicted the outcome of NFL games and seasons for over 20 years. These teams have especially struggled to throw the ball.

Dallas is 27th, and New York is 30th in Offensive Passer Rating. With these teams' poor display of offense in 2024, we are confident in taking the under.

Giants vs. Cowboys Predictions 

This total is one of the lowest of the NFL season, and for good reason. When it comes to offense, these teams are non-existent and have struggled to move the football. 

The Giants score 14.8 points per game, which is last in the NFL this season. The Cowboys aren’t much better at 20.1, which is 22nd. 

The Giants have moved on from quarterback Daniel Jones and are now starting fan favorite Tommy Devito. He threw for 189 yards one week ago in a loss to Tampa Bay. 

Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury a few weeks ago. The Cowboys are now going with Cooper Rush, who is questionable for this game. Trey Lance would be the starter if Rush is unable to play. 

Star receiver CeeDee Lamb is also questionable for this contest, making the offense more difficult for Dallas to run. 

We see this being a defensive game, and both teams will want to run the football with insufficient quarterbacks. 

Look for the defenses to be ready to defend the run and for very few points to be scored in this game to cash in our under.

Tommy Devito Under 173.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Tommy Devito will make his second start in 2024 on Sunday. He quickly became a fan favorite last season when he won a few games, but by no means is he the answer in New York. 

Devito is 3-4 in the last two seasons as a starter. In 2023, he made six starts, throwing seven touchdown passes and one interception. 

We don’t expect a whole lot from Devito in this game. Look for him to soar under his passing yards prop.

Malik Nabers Over 5.5 Receptions (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Malik Nabers is one of the most skilled receivers in football. He will be one of the top receivers going forward once he gets put in the right system or has a good quarterback throwing him the ball. 

In last week’s post-game press conference, Nabers said that the Giants aren’t getting him enough ball. We think he got his point across, and the New York coaching staff will look for him a lot more against the Cowboys. 

The Giants don’t have much offensive talent outside of Nabers. We expect him to be the primary focus of this week’s game plan.
