The 2025 NFL free agency period will officially open on Wednesday, but many of the league’s best on the open market are already signing deals.
The window for legal negotiations opened at noon on Monday, giving teams the opportunity to begin preparing their roster for the 2025-26 season. The free agency period is one of the most important times of the NFL season since it can push a franchise over the top or help take a team from pretender to contender.
