  • Saquon Barkley rushed for 176 yards in Week 7

  • The Eagles have allowed fewer than 17 points in three of their last four games

  • The Bengals rank in the bottom half of the league in rushing yards and TDs allowed

One of this weekend’s most exciting games will be between the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals. The matchup features two of the NFL’s most talented offenses facing defenses we don’t trust. That promises a thrilling matchup tonight, meaning there are some fantastic bets on the board.

Eagles vs. Bengals - My Pick

This matchup features two of the most talented offenses in the league going up against defenses you can’t trust. That will lead to many points being scored quickly, easily covering this high total.

Eagles vs. Bengals Predictions

The Eagles’ defense has been playing far better over the last few weeks, but we don’t buy the idea that this unit is being fixed.

Philly’s defense has held opponents to 16 or fewer points in three of their last four games. However, those came against bad offenses: the Saints, Browns, and Giants. The results were much uglier when the Eagles faced offenses like the Packers, Falcons, and Bucs.

They will be facing another excellent offense tonight in the Bengals. With Cincinnati’s defense as its Achilles heel, the offense has been firing on all cylinders with Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase on the field. That has helped to overcome the team’s lack of a run game, leading to some badly needed wins.

The Eagles offense had a lull after a strong opening game, but the unit has been turning things around over the last couple of weeks. The most impressive came last weekend when they torched a very good Giants’ defense for 28 points on 339 yards. While their third-down conversation rate was a mess, things will be far easier against a Bengals defense that allows opponents to do so on 44% of attempts.

Eagles vs. Bengals Best Prop Bets

Saquon Barkley Anytime TD (-165) at Caesars Sportsbook

There is not a great price on this one, but Barkley is all but certain about finding the end zone on Sunday. The veteran back is third in the league in rushing yards, 176 of which came in Week 7’s game against the Giants. Barkley already has five touchdowns on the ground and one through the air, averaging an incredible 6.1 YPC rushing and 6.4 YPC receiving.

The Bengals rank in the league's bottom half in both rushing yards and touchdowns allowed this season.

Jalen Hurts Over 217.5 Pass Yards (-117) at Caesars Sportsbook

This Bengals pass defense has been far worse than the numbers show. Their stats are padded by playing against Deshaun Watson and Daniel Jones over the last two weeks. Those are arguably the worst passers in the league, but that isn’t the case with Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles have opted to keep the ball on the ground against some of the league’s better defenses, but they will let Hurts air it out tonight. With Cincinnati’s poor pass defense and expectations of a high-scoring game, look for the quarterback to get plenty of pass attempts to cover this bet.

Saquon Barkley 3+ TDs (+950) at Caesars Sportsbook

If you are looking for a big payout, this is our favorite longshot for Sunday’s game. We discussed Barkley a lot above, so we won’t repeat ourselves here.

Barkley is a great option for two reasons. First, he is the unquestioned top back, registering at least 17 carries in all but one game. Second, Barkley is also a talented receiver with 103 yards and a touchdown through the air this season. He has scored three touchdowns once this season, and we expect a repeat performance against the Bengals tonight.
