The Bucs went 2-11 on third downs in their loss against the Jags
Tua went 5-5 for 51 yards and a touchdown last week
John Wolford completed 50% of his passes and averaged 3.7 yards per play last week
This is one of our favorite matchups from the final week of the 2024 NFL preseason. The Dolphins and Bucs made the playoffs last season but have their sights set much this year. Tonight’s game will showcase some of their impressive playmakers and the young talent that could help them make a run to Super Bowl LIX.
Below, we’ll share our three favorite prop bets from this cross-conference battle. Odds will be taken from bet365 Sportsbook, which gives new users the choice between a $1,000 First Bet Safety Net and $150 in Bonus Bets when using promo code WSN365 and following our exclusive link.

These squads have looked sharp in the preseason, so we expect a fun matchup tonight.
We expect the Dolphins to come out on top tonight. That is mainly due to the depth of their skill positions. That includes at quarterback, with backups Mike White and Skylar Thompson having experience starting in the NFL. The duo also competes for the backup job in Miami, giving them plenty of reason to ball out in their final showcase before the season.
We like this Bucs team, but they looked ugly in their second preseason game. The offense gained just 207 yards for seven points, and they only converted two of their 11 third-down attempts (18%), leading to an ugly loss.
The Baker Mayfield-Mike Evans combo could be on display tonight, but it won’t last more than a few drives.
Preseason battles come down to depth, and we see the Dolphins having far more.
Player props are limited this time of year, but there are some fantastic team prop bets currently being offered by bet365 Sportsbook. Below are three of our favorites.
We don’t know who will be starting for Miami yet, but you can bet that at least one of their star playmakers will be on the field. If Tua starts, we see him efficiently driving down the field against a preseason Bucs defense. He was incredible on the opening drive last week, going 5-5 for 51 yards and a touchdown.
If Miami decides not to put Tua at risk, we still expect De’Von Achane to see some time. The second-year player was incredible in his rookie season but also missed a lot of time with injuries. After missing so much time last season, he'll need reps, so we expect him to last at least two drives.
Achane can break out for a touchdown every time he touches the ball, as is backfield mate Raheem Mostert. Expect one to find the end zone against Tampa.

We believe the Dolphins will kick off the game with a touchdown before going on to win the game. That makes this an obvious prop bet, even though the price isn’t great.
We love Miami’s depth at quarterback, and the competition to be Tua’s backup will have both White and Thompson locked in. As good as Tua is, his history of concussions makes him more likely to miss significant time. That would open the door for his backup to see some action and possibly earn a starting job elsewhere next season.
We like Baker Mayfield but are unimpressed by the depth behind him. Kyle Trask and John Wolford split time during the preseason as the team chose to keep Baker off the field. Trask has been solid for the team, but Wolford struggled in his last game, completing 50% of his passes and averaging 3.7 yards per play.
Tampa could keep this close, but we see Miami taking the lead for good once Wolford takes over.

There aren’t many prop bets for this game, so we are turning to this one.
While we like Miami to win the game, we see it being close as the starters and second-string players are on the field. However, the Dolphins will have an advantage once those players are on the sideline. That change will give Miami enough time to ensure the victory but not enough to turn a close game into a blowout.
