The question on this bet is whether the Giants with the second least productive offense in the league can come within a dozen points of Tom Brady’s Buccaneers, who average almost 32 points per game, which should be enough to cover this incredibly generous spread.
Buccaneers -10.5 (-110)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are atop the NFC South and are 5-2 with GOAT QB Tom Brady now under center, the future Hall of Famer who was just named the NFL offensive player of the month having an outstanding season for an ‘old’ guy.
It has not been a fun 2020 for the New York Giants, whose 1-5 record puts them in line for a high-level draft pick next season, but to beat the offensively excellent Buccaneers on Monday Night Football would certainly put a small fire in the belly of this broken NFC East franchise.
The two NFC franchises have played each other 23 times (including 1 postseason game), with the New York Giants winning 16 of those matchups and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning 7 of them.
Not often that a 43-year old is named the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Month, but that coveted award just went to Tampa Bay QB Tom Brady, an ‘old timer’ by league standards that rewards youth over wisdom in most situations save a few.
Brady continues to be the exception to many rules that can only be broken by production like his, so far in 2020 posting a 5-2 record off 176-of-268 completions for 1,910 yards and 18 touchdowns with just 4 interceptions.
This was exactly what this talented Bucs team needed to thrive, and if Brady can stay healthy for the entire distance it looks like this Tampa Bay team will compete in the postseason for the first time since 2007.

The whole world was watching last Thursday Night Football as Giants QB Daniel Jones broke through a line of Eagles and made a beeline to the endzone at full speed.
The only problem was, he moved too fast for his own good (21.23 mph according to the official who times such things) and he tripped and stumbled untouched and then it looked like the ground got the best of him as he fell into the earth and an Eagle quickly touched him down.
The team still scored on that drive so there was no actual harm done, but it served as a metaphor for a team that went on to lose that game, their sixth L on the season, and who has looked shaky all year like at any moment they’ll fall.
Buccaneers defensive end Ndamukong Suh is known to be an aggressive player (read downright mean) at the front line of whatever defense he is playing with – Tampa Bay is his fourth team since he entered the league in 2010.
That is bad news for Giants QB Daniel Jones, and the worse news is Suh’s 3 sacks so far this season and the 7 quarterback hits, both signs that he is firing on all cylinders and is looking to beef up those numbers.
Suh has 61.5 total sacks in his career and 187 hits on opposing QBs to date, so expect him to again be a major factor in this MNF matchup against a younger quarterback who could mentally panic at just the sight of Ndamukong drawing near.
There are few things more helpful to a scrambling NFL quarterback than a tight end with soft hands and the ability to not only get open midfield, but to also take the hard hits linebackers bring and to get yards after said hit, and that’s exactly what Evan Engram brings to the Giants’ roster.
Engram hasn’t scored yet as he has in all his prior seasons, but he has been a reliable go-to target at times for young QB Daniel Jones, with Engram’s stat line showing 26 catches for 223 yards, which breaks down to 8.6 yards per catch.
At 6’ 3” and 240 pounds, Engram has the size and skill and quick feet to block defensive lineman, which will be key on Monday night as New York faces a Bucs team who average 3.6 sacks per game, third-most in the league.
