This Sunday is set to bring a series of highly anticipated matchups that will help fill in potential playoff seedings. One key game to watch for is the AFC North Divisional matchup between the Baltimore Ravens (7-2) hosting the Cleveland Browns (5-3). This game will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams, with the first being a 28-3 Ravens road win on October 1.
Brown started the 2023 NFL season with a 2-1 record in their first three games despite some struggles from quarterback Deshaun Watson. After three games, Watson was out for four games due to an injured shoulder. The Browns were 2-2 in games without Watson, but three of the four teams faced were legitimate playoff teams. The biggest win was the 19-17 win at home in week six versus the San Francisco 49ers. The Browns are coming off a 27-0 at home over the Arizona Cardinals in Watson's first game back.
The Ravens started the season with two wins, one of them being a huge road win versus the Cincinnati Bengals. They went on to lose two of the next three games but defeated the Browns in the middle of that stretch. In their last four games, the Ravens have played like one of the most dominant teams in the entire NFL. In Baltimore's current four-game win streak, the two wins over likely NFC playoff teams where games were Baltimore dominated. The Ravens destroyed the Detroit Lions at home 38-6 in week seven and then crushed the Seattle Seahawks 37-3 this past weekend.

When the Browns and the Ravens previously met earlier in the season, the Browns had the top-ranked defense in all major defense categories. After a few weeks of tough play, the browns are not quite as efficient but remain highly efficient on defense. Their biggest slip is in the containment of the opposing rushing game as Cleveland is now ranked sixth in the league in rushing yards allowed per game (89.8).
Jackson scored four total touchdowns in the win over Cleveland in week four. He rushed for 27 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. He should have a much more efficient performance in his second matchup versus the Browns’ defense.
Jackson is coming off a 60-yard rushing performance in 10 years in last week’s win over Seattle. Look for him to carry the momentum in week 10.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett continues to be one of the top defensive players in the league. He is going to be a serious candidate for NFL Defensive Player of the Year if he keeps playing consistent level in the pass rush.
In eight games this season, Garrett has accounted for 9.5 sacks as he has six games where he is accounted for at least one sack. In the loss to the Browns, Garrett accounted for one sack and three quarterback hits. While Garrett can create a solid pass rush by relying on his strength, he has the agility and the speed to catch up to speedy elusive runners like Lamar Jackson.
If there is one defensive player that will make an impact for the Browns, it will be due to Garrett’s efforts.

The Baltimore Ravens possess the top-ranked rushing offense in the league (160.3) thanks you multiple key players including quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Gus Edwards. Within the past few weeks, Edwards has been one of the most productive playmakers in the Ravens' offense.
In the last three games for the Ravens, Edward has rushed for 196 yards and six touchdowns on 38 carries. He is accounted for a touchdown in each of the last three games including the Ravens dominant win over the Seahawks and the Lions.
This Sunday is going to be a tough matchup for the Ravens high power rushing offense. They will be going against the tremendous defensive line of the Browns. Edwards might get his only touchdown in the game in a short-yardage situation at the goal line.
