Game two of the NFL’s Week 15 Saturday lineup is an exciting AFC matchup featuring the division-leading 9-4 Baltimore Ravens and the spiraling 5-8 Cleveland Browns, with the Ravens banged up and potentially without their top two QBs due to injury while the Browns and their controversial QB Deshaun Watson continue to be their own worst enemies, their season about done.
The sportsbooks have it on record that the Baltimore Ravens have covered the spread in five of their last six games against the Cleveland Browns, but that trend could end given the Ravens might be led by a third-string QB Anthony Brown who was signed as an undrafted free agent back in May who was just elevated from their practice squad, a low bar that maybe even the hapless Browns can jump over.
The Browns' defense was their problem early on with communication gaffes causing open receivers and un-tackled runners, but it is Cleveland’s ability to draw the yellow flags that set them apart from most other pro football franchises, a situation that might not get better under the current leadership and given their 5-8 record with slim chances of a postseason remaining.
This is an interesting bet for this matchup given how each of these teams has been scoring versus how they might play this weekend with various injuries and QB shifting in mind, but despite that the past doesn’t lie and according to the oddsmakers each of the Baltimore Ravens' last four games against AFC North opponents have gone under the total points line.
Except that points total number (37.5) that DraftKings is listing seems low, especially given how these two teams have scored all season – the Ravens offense puts 23.2 points on the board each week, and the Browns offense scores 23.1 points per game – that total of 46.3 points per game well over what is listed, so that means these injuries and QB Watson’s game rust are a true factor.
Another sign that things might not go the way they have in the past for these two teams is how the defenses typically allow scoring, with Baltimore’s group allowing opponents to score 19.2 points per game and the Browns' defense giving up 24.8 points each week for a total of 44 points also well over this bet, so choose based on which playmakers will (or won’t) be suiting up.

Here is a fun Special Bet from BetRivers that has the bettor guessing which team will win just the fourth quarter outright, as in outscoring the other one during that final fifteen minutes of play, an interesting gamble since it does not require the team to win the game, just come up big at the last fourth of the game when the players are bruised and thoroughly exhausted.
This game might come down to a rushing attack from the Ravens so watch for J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Kenyan Drake to get carries, that combined rushing attack ranked third in the league, except that includes the run game of QB Lamar Jackson (knee – PCL) who most likely will not be playing in this one, all facing the DC Joe Woods’ Browns 22nd ranked run defense.
To Browns QB Deshaun Watson’s credit, his second game back after 700 days of not playing NFL football was considerably better than his first game back, though last week the team was its own worst enemy committing nine penalties for 98 yards at all the wrong times, though it will be fun to watch WR Amari Cooper (hip) and TE David Njoku (knee) catch his passes if they are cleared to play.
