Believe it or not, there is a potential Super Bowl preview on Sunday Night Football this week when the Detroit Lions visit the Houston Texans. The Lions have emerged as the top team in the NFC thus far while the Texans surely belong among the contenders in the AFC. Something will have to give on Sunday because the Lions are 4-0 on the road while the Texans are 4-0 at home. One of those perfect records will be ruined in what figures to be a high-level matchup.

No matter what bonus offer you claim, most BetMGM users quickly learn why BetMGM is among the most popular sportsbooks. The platform makes it easy to find the exact bets you want to make. For example, there are two buttons on the homepage that can lead you to a full list of the upcoming NFL games. That includes the Sunday Night Football game between the Texans and Lions. For every game, you’ll see the spread, total, and moneyline bets, making those wagers easy to select. You can also click on “All Wagers” for a specific game for a complete list of bets available for that game, including player props.
For Sunday’s game, taking the Texans +3.5 figures to be a safe bet. If that’s the bet you want to make, just click on that box and the bet will show up in your bet slip. From there, you enter your stake and the bet slip will automatically calculate the return you’ll receive if that bet wins. Just make sure that you double-check the details in your bet slip before you make your bet official.
Betting against the Lions is a risky proposition. Not only are they 7-1 this season but they are also 7-1 against the spread. In six of their seven wins, the Lions were favored and covered the spread. However, a trip to Houston against a team that’s 6-3 and undefeated at home could be one of Detroit’s toughest games this season. The Texans also had a few days to prepare for this game after playing on Thursday last week whereas the Lions are playing back-to-back road games. That could be enough for the Texans to keep this game close and at least beat the spread, even if they don’t pull off the upset.
