Before Christmas Day, we have Week 16 Thursday Night Football. This week, we have the New York Jets hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Here, we’ll look at the three best prop bets to make in this game.

New York Jets vs Jacksonville Jaguars: Best Prop Bets

Zach Wilson Under 0.5 Passing TDs (+205) at DraftKings

Coming off of a 300-yard, two-touchdown game, Wilson should easily get at least one passing touchdown against a Jaguars defense that allows over 250 passing yards per game.

While it’s more likely than not, as seen by the odds, we must remember who Wilson is as an NFL player. He was benched earlier this season, and he’s started eight games. Of those eight games, he has four touchdown-less games. He’s only completing 54.7% of his passes.

This is a winnable matchup for Wilson, but he’s also not someone you can rely on. With +205 odds, this is something worth taking a shot at.

Trevor Lawrence Over 1.5 Passing TDs (+130) at DraftKings

Lawrence has been playing as, legitimately, one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over the last few weeks.

Over his last four games, Lawrence has three games with three or more passing touchdowns. Since Week 9, he’s completed less than 71.4% of his passes twice throughout an entire game.

While the Jets have great cornerback play from Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed Jr., Lawrence is playing at such a high level right now with two competent receiver options in Zay Jones and Christian Kirk.

We think Lawrence is going over 1.5 passing touchdowns. Thus, we need someone to be the beneficiary of that passing success.

Jones is coming off a three-touchdown game, but here, we’ll turn to the slot receiver, Kirk.

Kirk will line up from Michael Carter II out of the slot. He’s played fairly well this year, allowing just one touchdown and nearly 70% of the targets thrown his way to get caught.

Kirk hasn’t scored since Week 10 but look for Lawrence to find his dependable slot weapon while Jones battles with Gardner.

Kirk also has no less than seven targets since Week 6.
