We are at the end of Week 14 of the NFL season and we’re getting into the regular season’s final weeks.
Below are three of the best prop bets to make at the end of this week.
The Houston Texans have become the most surprising team in the NFL, and it is not even close. Under a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback, the Texans have accounted for an overall record of 7-5 and are projected as huge favorites this Sunday as the Texans face the New York Jets.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud has not only become a leading candidate for the league's Offensive Rookie of the Year but also the league MVP. In three of the last five games, Stroud has passed four, two or more touchdowns.
This Sunday, however, Stroud and the Texans have their work cut out for them as they face one of the top passing defenses in the league. The Jets are ranked third in the league in passing yards per game (176.6) and could be better if their offense did not put them in terrible situations. The Jets have allowed 14 of their 23 defensive touchdowns allowed to be from the passing game. There is a serious potential that Stroud could be having another stellar passing game with the Jets continuing to trend downward.

The Detroit Lions will go on the road to take on the Chicago Bears and a key NFC North divisional matchup. Lions quarterback Jared Goff has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the league this season.
In 12 games this season, Goff has thrown for 20 touchdowns. He has accounted for seven games where he has thrown for two or more touchdowns, over his last four being two touchdowns.
Three weeks ago, on Thanksgiving against the Chicago Bears at home, Goff threw for 236 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. While he created the comeback over the Lions, what is in the back of his mind are the three interceptions he threw.
This Sunday, Goff looks to redeem himself against a bad Lions defense. Chicago ranks 25th in the league in passing yards allowed per game (239.5). They have also allowed 23 passing touchdowns.
Golf should have a big chance to account for his fifth consecutive game to throw for two touchdowns.

The Minnesota Vikings have been put into a tough playoff position after two bad weeks. After five consecutive wins to get Minnesota to an overall record of 6-4, they suffered two close losses have the Denver Broncos and a terrible 12-10 loss on Monday Night Football to the Chicago Bears last week.
The good news for the Vikings is that they will have star wide receiver Justin Jefferson back in the lineup after missing seven games due to injuries. Through the first five games of the season, Jefferson caught 36 receptions for 571 yards and three touchdowns. He accounted for at least 145 yards within the first three games of the season for Minnesota.
The Raiders have had some efficiency on defense in the past few weeks, but especially against the passing game. Las Vegas ranks 13th in the league in passing yards allowed per game (216.8). If Jefferson wants to help his Vikings account for one last playoff push, he will need a big game against the Raiders.
