Best Josh Allen Prop Bets: Bills Looking to Defend Home Turf

Updated January 8, 2025
4 min read
  • Josh Allen ended the season as the MVP favorite

  • Burrow is 14th in passing yards (3,731)

  • The quarterback has the second-best QBR in the league (77.2)

The Bills dominated the AFC East this season thanks to their MVP quarterback, Josh Allen. Allen closed the season as the frontrunner for the NFL MVP award and is expected to win the award.

While Allen is having a fantastic season, it’s meaningless if the Bills can’t make a playoff push. Buffalo is the second seed in the AFC standings and will host the Broncos to open the postseason.

The Bills are a heavy favorite, and we anticipate a strong performance from the Pro Bowl quarterback. We have targeted a few props for Allen on FanDuel Sportsbook.

FanDuel Sportsbook has same-game parlay boosts throughout the NFL playoffs. New customers can also get $200 in bonus bets when they wager $5 on the platform.

Best Josh Allen Prop Bets

Josh Allen Anytime Touchdown (-125) at FanDuel

When you look at Allen’s passing stats, you may be surprised that he is expected to win MVP. The quarterback has been efficient through the air but has hurt defenses on the ground.

Allen’s size, speed, and athleticism make him one of the most dangerous running quarterbacks in the NFL. The quarterback can run through and away from defenders, and the Broncos haven’t seen as imposing of a player this season, which should also help Allen shine.

Buffalo has done a solid job using Allen in the designed run game, but he can also scramble. The Broncos have a legitimate pass rush behind players like Zach Allen, so look for Allen to be on his toes.

The quarterback has rushed for 531 yards this season and 12 touchdowns. The Bills wouldn’t be nearly as dangerous as an offense without Allen’s rushing ability, so we anticipate them using it a lot on Sunday.

His touchdown odds are -125, which is a hefty price to pay, but considering Allen is similar to a running back, we’re willing to accept the juice.

Josh Allen Over 39.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Denver is being disrespected coming into this game. While they’re not on the same level as the Bills, they are elite on defense and have an underrated offense.

Buffalo received the best possible matchup, but they still need to bring their best offensive game. When the Bills are firing on all cylinders, Allen uses his legs to torment defenses.

The quarterback’s rushing line is listed at 39.5 yards, and we’re taking the over in this contest. The quarterback has only hit this line in two of his past four games.

However, the two games where he missed were uncompetitive. Allen didn’t have to use his legs.

Allen traditionally recorded 40+ rushing yards against competitive teams. In his last two games, he easily surpassed 40 yards against the Lions and Rams.

The Broncos present many defensive challenges for Allen, so look for him to scramble and the team to call designed runs.

Josh Allen Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+100) at FanDuel

Buffalo's weather is expected to be windy and cold, making throwing the ball difficult. Yet, Allen throws such a strong pass that it can fight through the wind.

Allen has consistently thrown for multiple touchdowns in games this season. While we expect him to run the ball and use his legs, he should have chances to surpass 1.5 passing touchdowns.

Allen’s touchdown passing line is set at 1.5 for +100. Whenever you can get an MVP quarterback at plus money to throw two or more touchdowns, you take the opportunity.
