Jordan Love ranks fifth in touchdown passes this season despite playing only three games.
Arizona’s defense has allowed one passing touchdown or less in three of the team’s five games.
Jordan Love has completed just 56% of his passes this season.
Jordan Love began the 2024 campaign with high expectations. In what has already been an up-and-down season for him, he’s yet to fully live up to those expectations. Nevertheless, there is no denying he has great upside and has the potential to lead the Packers to great things this season. Of course, Love’s topsy-turvy season does make it challenging to predict his prop bets in any given week, even ahead of a Week 6 matchup against a potentially vulnerable Arizona defense that ranks among the worst in the NFL.
If you want to target Love’s prop bets this week, consider using odds from bet365 Sportsbook. Right now, bet365 is offering two different welcome offers to new customers. If you sign up for a new bet365 account, you have a choice between a safety net of up to $1,000 on your first bet or receiving $200 worth of bonus bets if you make a $5 bet on your first wager.
If you’re a fan of prop bets, you might also want to check out some Derrick Henry prop bets for Week 6 as he and the Ravens face the Commanders. Meanwhile, it’s also curious to check out how Love and the Packers stack up currently with regard to Green Bay’s odds to win the NFC North.
Love came up short of this number by a wide margin last week, managing just 224 passing yards against the Rams. However, this figure is still well below his average of 291 passing yards per game. Admittedly, that’s just his average over three games. But Love has frequently hit on big plays that help push his passing total up in a hurry. He also has a large selection of viable receivers, making it hard for opposing defenses to focus on just one target, allowing Love to hit on big plays down the field.
This week, Love and the Packers are facing an Arizona defense conceding over 25 points per game. In fairness, if Love reaches 257 passing yards, that would be a season-high for the Arizona defense. But given the way the Cardinals have played lately, this game could become a shootout with Love being opposed by Kyler Murray and the Arizona offense. That might force the Packers to lean on Love and the passing game a little more, allowing him to flirt with a 300-yard passing performance.

It would be taking the easy way out to bet on Love staying under 2.5 passing touchdowns in Week 6. Love has been held below that number in two of the three games he’s played this season. However, he has proven himself capable of going over that mark after throwing four touchdown passes against the Vikings two weeks ago. Going back to last season, Love also hit three touchdown passes in two of his last four games last season, including the playoffs, so this bet isn’t that far-fetched. Plus, there is great value as opposed to betting under 2.5 touchdown passes.
Again, the Arizona defense may not make that easy for him. In three of their five games, the Cardinals have held opposing quarterbacks to one passing touchdown or less. They’ve yet to give up three touchdown passes in a single game, so this would be another season-high given up by the Arizona defense. However, Love has played great over his last six quarters after initially struggling upon his return from injury. If he keeps trending in the right direction, three touchdown passes are realistic.

Unfortunately, Love hasn’t been able to limit his turnovers this season. When he returned from his injury two weeks ago, Love threw three picks against the Vikings. He added another one last week, throwing at least one interception in all three of his games in 2024. Combined with the fact that he’s only completing 56.1% of his passes this season, Love is vulnerable to another interception in Week 6.
It doesn’t help that the Arizona defense has forced four interceptions over the first five games of the season. The Cardinals picked off Brock Purdy twice last week while also forcing an interception from Jayden Daniels and Jared Goff in recent weeks. In fact, the Arizona defense has gone three consecutive games with at least one interception. With Love being a little loose with the ball, the Cardinals have an excellent chance to pick him off at some point, even if Love has a great game otherwise.
