  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been one of the best receivers in the NFL

  • Smith-Njigba is sixth in receptions and fifth in yards

  • The receiver has averaged 11.7 yards per reception

The Seahawks are on the bubble for making the NFC playoffs. They have a 14% chance of making the playoffs and need a win to keep their playoff chances alive.

Seattle has a good chance of prevailing against the Bears, and we expect Jaxon Smith-Njigba to perform well. Smith-Njigba has been one of the best receivers in the NFL this season, and he should have a significant presence in prime time.

FanDuel Sportsbook has same-game parlay boosts for Bears vs Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. We have targeted three props for Smith-Njigba on the site.

FanDuel gives new customers $150 in bonus bets if their first $5 wager wins on the platform, so take advantage of this for Bears vs. Seahawks.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Prop Bets Seahawks vs. Bears

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Smith-Njigba was expected to be in the Rookie of the Year race last year, but an injury ended his season. The receiver couldn’t show his talent, but he changed the narrative in 2024.

Smith-Njigba is one of the best receivers in the NFL and has a bright future. Even though the Seahawks have DK Metcalf, they consistently use Smith-Njigba.

The Bears' defense has been terrible this season, and they’re very susceptible to deep plays in the secondary. Smith-Njigba is good at getting behind safeties and hitting big plays down the field.

The receiver is fifth in yards with 1,089, and his line is 70.5 yards. He has gone over this line in seven straight games, and we believe he will make it eight on Thursday.

According to Cold, Hard Football Facts, the Bears are 25th in Total Team Yards Allowed. Cold, Hard Football Facts is a proprietary stat tool used for NFL betting, and their stats indicate that Smith-Njigba has a very easy matchup against Chicago’s defense.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 5.5 Receptions (-156) at FanDuel

Metcalf has served as the deep ball threat for the Seahawks this season. He has created explosive plays downfield, which has opened up Smith-Njigba for more possession chances.

Geno Smith has consistently targeted Smith for underneath targets, and we see a similar result on Thursday. The receiver is fast enough to turn these quick targets into explosive plays.

The Seahawks should implement a game plan where they get the ball quickly to Smith-Njigba in space. He is quick enough to make men miss, leading to more receptions.

His receptions are slightly juiced on FanDuel Sportsbook at -156. This number is significant to lay, but he has a high hit rate and is facing a weak secondary.

Smith-Njigba has surpassed 5.5 receptions in two straight games and received 12 targets in two consecutive games, so Seattle has altered its offense to get him the ball more recently.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime Touchdown (+150) at FanDuel

Smith-Njigba hasn’t found the end zone much this season, but he has a solid chance against the Bears secondary. Chicago’s secondary has been bad this season, and they haven’t been solid tacklers.

Smith-Njigba has received 12 targets over his past two games, giving him more chances to find the end zone. He is very slippery with the football, so we expect him to maneuver defenders on short passes to score.

If Smith-Njigba can play as expected, there is no reason he can’t find the end zone.
