Targeting a player’s reception prop can be beneficial when placing wagers. This is especially true if you’re dealing with an offense that spreads the ball around the field. 

The Chiefs' offense is very different from a few seasons ago. Early in Mahomes’ career, we saw him take more deep shots, putting him in NFL MVP award contention, but now, he is not forcing anything.

The Panthers give up many points on the defensive side of the ball, which is why we will see multiple Kansas City receivers score this week. Hopkins and Kelce are this offense's two most crucial red zone threats.

Hopkins has two touchdowns for the Chiefs in four games. His role keeps increasing as the season goes on, and he will likely be the main target for Mahomes. 

Hopkins is no stranger to the end zone, bringing in 81 touchdowns throughout his career. He has the advantage in Week 12 against a weak Carolina secondary with nothing to play for before Thanksgiving.
