The Bears head to Arizona after a heart-breaking Hail Mary loss
Arizona is 4-4, coming off a win over the Dolphins
Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr. are coming off 100+ yard receiving games
It seems like the Chicago Bears have the worst luck in the NFL, which was proven again last week. Jayden Daniels found Noah Brown in the end zone last week against Chicago as time expired, thanks to a Hail Mary.
The Bears must have a short memory as they head to Arizona at 4-3 for a tough game against the Cardinals.
Kyler Murray is coming off a terrific game, throwing for 307 yards, so we believe he will start throwing early. Arizona is tied for first place in the NFC West with San Francisco and Seattle.
Odds for the Bears vs Cardinals matchup are provided by FanDuel Sportsbook. New users of FanDuel Sportsbook can win $150 in bonus bets if their first $5 wager wins on the app. This is a great way to rack up some bonuses for the NFL season.
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Chicago Bears | +1.5 (-120) | -106 | Over 43.5 (-106) |
Arizona Cardinals | -1.5 (-102) | -110 | Under 43.5 (-114) |
The Cold, Hard Football Facts have successfully predicted the outcome of NFL games and seasons for over 20 years. Their 22 proprietary stats rank teams in terms of efficiency, and the Cardinals rank 22nd in the quality stat power rankings.
Chicago is 14th in this category, so the Bears have the edge on paper. That said, the Cardinals have a better roster with more explosiveness, and we think they can get the job done in this at home.
We are taking Arizona -1.5 as Marvin Harrison Jr. and James Conner should have big days.

This is an exciting matchup between two teams that desperately need a win. Chicago should come in frustrated from last week’s loss as time expired, whereas Arizona is looking to build momentum after a win.
Caleb Williams is having an impressive rookie campaign, and Chicago could easily be 5-2 in 2024. Williams has thrown for 1,448 yards and nine touchdowns this season without a lot of blocking.
He is interception-prone, which is a concern for any quarterback, but he is playing great football considering his age.
Murray has also been very good in 2024, throwing for 1,638 yards and 11 touchdowns with only three interceptions.
He is caring for the ball, which keeps the Cardinals in every game. Arizona is loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball, including Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride, who leads the receiving side.
Ultimately, this game will come down to who can take care of the ball and win the turnover battle, and we think Murray will do just that on Sunday. Look for Arizona to establish a great run game with Conner to open up Harrison Jr. down the field.
We think the Cardinals should be favored by at least a field goal at home, so we will gladly take them at -1.5 in this matchup.
Harrison Jr. is coming off a spectacular game in which he had six receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. We expect a similar performance in this matchup against the Bears secondary.
Harrison Jr. utilizes his height well in the red zone, and Murray always looks for him down the field. Murray and McBride will be the go-to guys in the red zone this week.
Harrison has 26 receptions for 411 yards and five touchdowns in 2024. Look for him to find the end zone this week to cash this player prop.

Conner comes into this game with 129 rushing attempts for 557 yards with four touchdowns. He has gotten most of the workload on the ground and is a significant red-zone threat.
Conner scored in last week’s contest, and we expect Arizona to keep giving him opportunities. He also does a great job catching the ball out of the backfield with running back screens and as a safety valve.

Swift comes in with 109 carries for 454 yards and four touchdowns. He has been the go-to running back for Chicago and has had a great season in 2024.
Swift is coming off a 129-yard performance against Washington in which he also scored a touchdown.
The Bears love utilizing Swift, especially with a rookie quarterback, and we expect him to perform massively in Week 9.
