The 49ers have allowed 16 total touchdowns to running backs this season
49ers tight end George Kittle has 60 yards receiving or more in half of his games this season

49ers | -195 | -4 (-110) | Under 44 (-110) |
The 49ers are dealing with so many injuries heading into this game, including their top two running backs, Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason.
The Bears also head into this game with a new head coach after they fired Matt Eberflus following a head-scratching end to the Thanksgiving Day game.
Teams tend to rally in the first game following an interim head coach.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been playing well lately, too.
I’ll take the points with the Bears here.

OK, there’s a lot to consider when examining this game.
Let’s start with the 49ers.
This season has been a letdown for them. Point blank. They’re 5-7, last in their division, and are coming off a Super Bowl appearance.
That said, they’ve been hit with so many injuries and that list remains long headed into this one.
Two key injuries are to running backs Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason. McCaffrey was placed on injured reserve, and Mason will likely not play.
There’s also plenty of injuries on defense, too.
Thankfully, they still have wide receiver Jauan Jennings, who’s having a breakout season, and George Kittle, who’s always reliable.
As a defense, they’re allowing 24.6 points (24th) per game despite ranking top five in total yards allowed per game (309.9).
The offense is among the top 10 in rushing yards and passing yards per game, but with the running back injuries, we should see some regression there.
They’ve scored 17 or less in three straight games, though, to be fair, one of those games was with Brandon Allen under center. Still, even with Brock Purdy back, they scored just 10 on the road against Buffalo.
Transitioning to the Bears, the 49ers will face a Chicago defense allowing 20 points (ninth) and 209.4 passing yards (11th) per game.
They’ve gotten beaten up in the running game this season, but again, the 49ers are lacking depth there.
The Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus after last week's time management issue, which cost them a chance at tying the game heading into overtime. Who knows what would’ve happened there.
Now, Thomas Brown, the offensive coordinator, steps in as the interim head coach.
Williams had a massive dry spell offensively, but he’s played well over the last two games, throwing for 596 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions.
Williams has taken care of the ball this season despite his woes, throwing only five picks.
For this game, the 49ers simply have too many injuries. They could still win at home, but it’ll be quite a close game.
That said, the defense, which has several injuries, will need to slow down a talented rookie quarterback in the state where he finished his college career.
I’m not sure who wins, but I think the Bears cover.
The 49ers have gotten gashed consistently this season against opposing running backs, allowing 14 rushing and two receiving scores.
They’ve allowed at least one touchdown to the position in seven straight games, and Swift is the guy for the Bears, especially with Roschon Johnson hurt.
Swift is a bit beat up heading into this game, too, but this is only valid if he plays.
Swift hasn’t been very productive this season, averaging less than four yards per carry. Still, he’s averaging about 18 touches per game and gets work in both the run and passing game.
Wide receiver D.J. Moore is banged up and hasn’t practiced. If he doesn’t play, Swift will see even more opportunities.
Given the 49ers inability to stop opposing running backs from scoring, I’ll take a chance at +140.

Kittle had a mere seven yards last week, but he’s had 60 yards or more in five of 10 games. There are also two other games where he went for 57 and 58 yards.
The Bears have struggled against tight ends, allowing about 55 yards per game to the position. They’ve allowed tight ends to go for 60 yards or more in five games this season.
With McCaffrey and (likely) Mason out, expect more Kittle usage.

He’s had two touchdowns or more in each of his last two games, so at +130, I’m willing to ride the hot streak that’s building.
The 49ers have also allowed multiple touchdown passes over the last two games.
The Bears do have a lot of weapons on offense. If Moore plays, that only adds to it, but even if he doesn’t, here’s Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet, Swift, Rome Odunze, and more.
Also, keep in mind that the 49ers haven’t exactly held the cream of the crop at quarterback to less than two passing touchdowns.
Here’s the full list: Will Levis, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Matthew Stafford, Andy Dalton, Jayden Daniels, Kyler Murray, and Drake Maye.
Sure, some of those players stand out more than others, but some also run more than their quarterback colleagues.
I like this +130 value here.
