The first game of the Final Four will be an all-SEC affair between the Auburn Tigers and the Florida Gators. Much like Duke and Houston, the Tigers and Gators were the top seed in their region, winning four straight NCAA Tournament games to reach the Final Four. Both teams are now just two wins away from a national championship.
With just three games left in the NCAA Tournament, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to claim FanDuel’s welcome offer for new customers. All you have to do is sign up and place a $5 bet. If that bet wins, you’ll receive $200 worth of bonus bets to use on any sporting event.

Florida is a slight favorite in Saturday’s game, which makes sense because the Gators beat Auburn during the regular season. However, the spread indicates that this game could easily go either way. Here are the current odds according to FanDuel Sportsbook:
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Florida | -2.5 (-112) | -150 | Over 159.5 (-115) |
Auburn | +2.5 (-108) | +125 | Under 159.5 (-105) |

There are plenty of reasons to support Florida being a slight favorite in this game. The Gators beat Auburn by nine points on the road in their only head-to-head meeting this season. Florida is also on a 10-game winning streak after winning the SEC Tournament and cruising through most of the NCAA Tournament.
The Gators also proved that they can handle adversity by overcoming a 10-point second-half deficit against Texas Tech in the Elite Eight. That was the type of win that can propel a team to a national championship. When his team needed him the most, star point guard Walter Clayton Jr. was at his best, which is what teams need if they want to win a title.
Of course, the Tigers have star power of their own with big man Johni Broome. He’s recorded a double-double in three of Auburn’s four NCAA Tournament games, helping to quiet any skepticism about the Tigers after they lost three of four games heading into the Big Dance. Luckily for the Tigers, Broome isn’t a one-man show. Auburn has four other players who average double figures, as the Tigers have four guards who all shoot at least 37% from the perimeter.
Auburn has a balanced attack that can score inside and outside, as the Tigers do a great job of sharing the basketball and avoiding careless turnovers. Between that balance and Broome’s ability to dominate the game at both ends, look for the Tigers to go toe-to-toe with Florida and potentially pull off a slight upset over their SEC rivals.
