The No. 22 Florida Gators (3-1) will pay a visit to the Kentucky Wildcats (4-0) in a matchup between two SEC East opponents, and DraftKings Sportsbook is offering a three-part welcome bonus worth $1,250 to anyone who creates an account with a DraftKings promo code before kick-off.
DraftKings is one of the largest and most trusted online sportsbooks in America. On top of having a wide catalog of betting markets and special deals, it is offering $1,250 to all first-time users who create an account before Saturday’s SEC showdown.
The deal is valid for anyone 21 or older who does not already have a DraftKings account and that is in a state where DraftKings is legal. If you're from the Bluegrass State and eager to kickstart your betting journey, Kentucky's best online sportsbooks are rolling out exclusive promotions to welcome new bettors. This comes as Kentucky recently legalized betting within the state.
Anyone who is interested in claiming the offer only needs to follow a couple of simple steps to unlock the offer. They are as follows.
The first part of the deal is a $50 bonus bet that is accredited as soon as the sign-up process has been completed. The second is a bet $5 to win $200 guarantee which ensures that, no matter the outcome of your first bet, you will receive eight $25 bonus bet tokens. The third is a 20% deposit match up to $1,000 also paid in bonus bets.
Bonus bets cannot be withdrawn for real money or transferred to another sportsbook but can be used to win cash with successful bets. All bonus bets will expire after seven days.
Florida began its year with a tough loss to Utah but has won three straight games and looks like a tough team to beat. Kentucky has not tasted defeat in four games but is yet to play a team with a winning record.
Will the Gators continue their storm into the top 20 or will the Wildcats win and put themselves in a position to be ranked next week? Here’s how the oddsmakers are framing the matchup.
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
No. 22 Florida | +1.5 (-110) | +100 | Over 44 (-110) |
Kentucky | -1.5 (-110) | -120 | Under 44 (-110) |

Florida and Kentucky have the misfortune of sharing a division with the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. A second loss for Florida would almost assuredly put them out of contention to reach the conference championship, while a first loss for Kentucky could be all it takes to fall too far behind Georgia.
Florida has the best win of the two with a 29-16 home result against then-No. 11 Tennessee. Quarterback Graham Mertz is also coming off his best start of the season in which he completed 87% of his passes for 259 yards and a touchdown against the Charlotte 49ers.
Both teams are strong defensively. The Gators have allowed just 13.5 points per game, while the Wildcats are not far behind with only 15.5 points surrendered per game. The latter, however, did just give up 28 to a Vanderbilt Commodores offense that pales in comparison to what Florida has to offer.
Both teams will struggle to run the ball, especially Kentucky, which has over 100 yards fewer rushing than the Gators (and also is not as committed to pounding the rock). The Wildcats do have a great playmaker at wideout in Tayvion Robinson, but the Gators look the stronger of the two sides.
Expect Florida to use a balanced attack to subdue the Wildcats in a hard-fought affair.
