We have a Top 5 matchup between Alabama and Georgia in Tuscaloosa
Shedeur Sanders looks to build off his big game against Baylor
Expect a rebound from USC at home after losing to Michigan
There are tons of college football games on the Week 5 slate, but one contest matters more than any other on Saturday. #4 Alabama will host #2 Georgia in Tuscaloosa.
This is the first time Alabama has been a home underdog since 2007, which speaks to the program's dominance. Both teams are coming off bye weeks, which should make for a competitive game.
Since this will be such a tightly contested matchup, the best way to attack it can be through the prop markets. The same goes for other big games on the slate, like Wisconsin vs. USC and Colorado vs. UCF.
We believe a few players will shine on Saturday, and we’re placing these bets on bet365 Sportsbook. As a special offer, bet365 gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $200 in bonus bets. This exclusive deal is available only by following our custom bet365 sign-up link and by using our promo code WSN365.
The winner of the Alabama vs. Georgia game has a much easier path to the SEC Championship. Because of their talent, the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs are expected to be two of the final teams remaining in the College Football Playoff.
One player to watch for in this contest is Jalen Milroe. Milroe is a dual-threat quarterback who can make plays all over the field. He has posted Heisman numbers all season, throwing for 590 yards and eight touchdowns with no interceptions through three games.
Milroe is elite because of his ability to throw and run. He has six rushing touchdowns this season, and his touchdown odds are favorable for Saturday night.
Milroe is -120 to score, and the odds are longer than usual because Georgia has been excellent on defense. However, Milroe has played well in big games and uses his legs a lot more in big games. This is a good sign, considering he has scored six times in 2024.
Milroe only carried the ball 14 times for 29 yards in the SEC Championship game against Georgia last season. However, his performance led to a win, and Alabama has an improved offensive line.
If the Crimson Tide are around the goal line, look for Milroe to take the ball himself into the end zone.

It may seem wild to take a quarterback to throw for 300 yards, but Shedeur Sanders consistently exceeds this number. His passing yards prop was frequently listed at 325 yards last season because he typically has vast performances.
In Colorado’s first NCAAF Big 12 game of the season against Baylor, Sanders was spectacular. He threw for 341 yards with two touchdowns. Sanders has exceeded 299.5 yards in three of his first four games.
This includes a 445-yard game against North Dakota State. The University of Central Florida, a 15-point favorite, is expected to dominate this contest.
The Knights have an explosive offense, and Colorado must match this for four quarters to be competitive. Colorado has struggled to find a consistent rushing attack, so they should be throwing the ball most of the time in this game.
Central Florida has one of the worst passing defenses in the Big 12. They’re allowing 238.7 passing yards per game, and Sanders will be the best quarterback they have seen all season.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Sanders push 350 yards in this contest if Colorado can find ways to move the chains.

USC had College Football Playoff aspirations this season, but they couldn’t handle an average Michigan team last week. The Trojans had a chance to beat the Wolverines on the road, but their defense gave up a touchdown late, costing them the game.
The defense was terrible against Michigan, but the same goes for Miller Moss and the offense. Moss completed just 54.9% of his passes, averaging 5.5 yards per completion.
Moss threw nearly 20 more times than his average because of how horrendous the Trojans were throughout the contest. Yet, Lincoln Riley coached teams that know how to respond and have a great chance against Wisconsin at home.
The Trojans offense starts with Moss, and we’re taking over 296.5 passing yards on Saturday. Wisconsin only allows 160.3 passing yards per game, but they haven’t seen a passing attack like the Trojans.
Moss has thrown for 890 in three games and should continue padding his stats on Saturday.
