Nebraska hosts Illinois to begin Week 4
Dylan Raoila is off to a tremendous start to his college career
Florida State looks to bounce back after three consecutive losses
The Week 3 schedule didn’t have many headlining games. However, this isn’t the case in Week 4, as we have marquee matchups all weekend.
The prime-time action starts on Friday night with Illinois and Nebraska. Dylan Raiola has been fantastic this season, putting the country on notice as a freshman. In addition to this game, we’re also looking at the Florida State and Cal matchup.
The Seminoles are looking to stay relevant, and all eyes should be on the team as they’re facing their fourth straight loss. Instead of betting on the traditional markets in these games, we’re taking some props on bet365.
We believe a few players will shine on Saturday, and we’re placing these bets on bet365 Sportsbook. As a special offer, bet365 gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $200 in bonus bets. This exclusive deal is available by using our promo code WSN365.
Dylan Raiola has Nebraska looking like a contender in the Big Ten. Nebraska hasn’t looked relevant in years, but the future is bright. They have a great coach, Matt Rhule, who has rebuilt multiple college programs, and they also have one of the best young quarterbacks in America.
We’re looking at Raiola’s passing yards line for Friday against Illinois. The Illini have one of the best passing defenses in the Big Ten, allowing just 151.7 passing yards per game.
However, they haven’t faced an overly demanding schedule. They shut out Eastern Illinois 45-0 in the season opener and barely allowed any yards through the air.
They did battle #19 Kansas in the second game of the season and were very impressive in this contest. Jalon Daniels threw for 141 yards with three interceptions, so they did an excellent job confusing the veteran quarterback.
Yet, even as a freshman, Raiola is on a different level than Daniels. The quarterback has thrown for 670 yards in the first three games with five touchdowns and one interception. He has a 79.2 QBR, which is 24th in the country.
Raiola has exceeded this line in two of his past three games. The one miss was against Colorado, and this is because the Cornhuskers barely had to throw the ball. Look for Raiola to have a massive day and surpass 221.5 passing yards.

Stanford will face Syracuse in an ACC battle. You're not alone if you’re still wondering why Stanford is in the ACC. The Cardinal are traveling across the country, as they must do multiple times this season.
However, they do match up well with the teams in the ACC. The Cardinal are 1-1 and currently in fourth place in the ACC. One of their biggest stars has been quarterback Ashton Daniels.
Daniels has been dominant at Stanford as their starting quarterback. He has thrown for 384 yards in two games, three touchdowns, and one interception.
His passing total for Friday is set at 212.5 passing yards. While he isn’t a gunslinger, he can easily exceed this line.
Daniels is coming off a game where he averaged just under 10 yards per attempt. He was 19 of 23 for 221 yards with two touchdowns.
Syracuse has struggled against the pass this season, ranking in the bottom half of the ACC. The Orange allow 223.5 passing yards per game, so Daniels should have some opportunities down the field.

The Florida State Seminoles will look to earn their first win of the season against Cal. They’re a 2.5-point favorite, which is surprising considering they have lost two games as double-digit favorites in 2024.
FSU had College Football Playoff aspirations this season, and many expected them to be one of the best 12 teams in the country. This is impossible after an 0-3 start, but their season isn’t over.
Bookmakers still view the Seminoles favorably, as we have identified a game prop on bet365 that supports this statement. We’re playing no team to score three unanswered times for +150.
The yes side of the line is -200, and this is surprising considering neither offense is that good, and we don’t expect many points either way. DJU has been horrendous in 2024, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him get benched by the end of the season.
He has averaged 223 yards per game with one touchdown and two picks in three contests this season. The Seminoles also don’t have a prominent run game, so we don’t see them stacking many scoring drives.
Cal could surprise some people in this contest, but they’re also a very average team.
