Army is a touchdown favorite over Navy on Saturday
Army vs. Navy is the only game scheduled for Saturday
The Black Knights are coming off an American Conference Championship against Tulane
Army was left out of the College Football Playoff but finished in the Top 25 after beating Tulane in the American Conference Championship. Army was a home underdog but won outright to capture its first American Conference title.
The Black Knights have an excellent team and are a touchdown favorite over Navy. The service academies usually play tight games, and this matchup should come down to the wire.

The Army vs. Navy game is unlike any other in the country. Not only do the players on the field enter the military after their collegiate careers are over, but they also run the triple option.
Very few Division I football programs still run this offense because the game has evolved. Spread offenses have taken over college football, and the most prolific quarterbacks are those like Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, who rely on passing.
Army quarterback Bryson Daily is different. He can throw the ball when needed but leans on his legs, thanks to the Army’s philosophy of running the football.
Army is the 22nd-ranked team in the nation, but Navy is no pushover at 8-3. We believe this game will develop like a typical Army vs. Navy contest, which means a lot of running.
Daily has significantly more rushing yards than passing yards this season. He has rushed for 1,480 yards with 29 touchdowns, expanding on his great 901-yard season one year ago.
Army has won games thanks to Daily's legs. However, throwing the ball has been few and far between. Daily has had some strong performances, like throwing for 190 yards against Texas San Antonio on November 30.
However, he is coming off a game where he threw for 17 yards against Tulane in a 35-14 win. His passing line is listed at 68.5, and we’re taking the under because we believe Army will run the ball.
He threw for 54 yards last season against Navy with one touchdown. He may get close to this line, but we believe he will stay under on FanDuel Sportsbook.

FanDuel Sportsbook has Daily’s anytime touchdown odds at +210. The consensus line on him to score is -390, but FanDuel has a much better price.
This is why it’s essential to line shop: if you bet this on Caesars Sportsbook, it would be -800. The other books may have better prices for other props, but FanDuel is king for a Daily touchdown.
Daily is a running machine, especially around the goal line. He has scored 29 touchdowns this season in every game but one. He has multiple touchdowns in 11 of his 12 starts.
Look for Army to run the ball consistently with him around the goal line and cash this wager. He didn’t score in this game last season, but we see this changing in his senior season.

FanDuel Sportsbook also has an excellent line for Navy quarterback Blake Horvath to score a touchdown. Horvath has rushed for 895 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
He has more no-score games than any other quarterback, but the +650 price for him to find the end zone is very generous.
Navy leans on Horvath around the goal line, and we believe they will be very competitive in this contest. If they are competitive, the script has Horvath finding the end zone.
