Alabama is 11th in the first CFP poll, on the brink of elimination
The Crimson Tide will travel to Death Valley to face LSU in a night game
Cam Ward is favored to win the Heisman
The first College Football Playoff ranking has been released, and many changes can occur in the next few weeks. The most significant shift that could happen coming out of Week 11 would be Alabama slipping past the top 12 teams.
The Crimson Tide started the season dominating every team, including the Georgia Bulldogs. However, they have slipped up and are now one loss away from being eliminated from the postseason.
Alabama travels to Death Valley to face LSU in a night game. We expect the stars to shine. Therefore, we’re targeting two props in this game.
We’re also betting on Cam Ward to continue his dominance for Miami.

Cam Ward has dominated nearly every ACC team and is posting massive numbers. For most of the season, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty was the favorite to win the Heisman, but the odds have flipped toward Cam Ward.
Ward is now the favorite to win the Heisman at +200, and he has done this by winning games with big passing stats. Ward’s passing yards total is listed at 319.5 yards on Saturday, and we understand this is a high line.
However, Ward’s line is high because he has consistently surpassed this total in 2024. The quarterback has dissected nearly every opponent in his path. Ward has thrown for 3,146 yards on the season with 29 touchdowns to just six interceptions.
The lack of turnovers is impressive, considering how much he has thrown the ball in 2024. Ward has the best QBR in the country at 91.7, and we believe he will build on his success against the Yellow Jackets.
Georgia Tech has one of the better passing defenses in the conference. The Yellow Jackets have the fifth-best unit in the ACC, allowing just 213 yards per game. Yet, we still like Miami to have their way offensively, which means Ward will have a substantial performance throughout the contest.
Ward has gone over this line in three of his past five games. One of his two misses was at 319 yards, so he has been close to or surpassed this line in four of his last five contests. Ward is favored to win the Heisman for the first time this season, so he should continue taking his play to more considerable heights.

The SEC is the toughest conference in America, and this fact will be on full display on Saturday. Alabama and LSU are desperate for a win to keep their CFP dreams alive.
LSU is a field goal underdog at home in this contest, and while this line is appealing, we’re looking at the prop market. We expect Garrett Nussmeier to throw the ball consistently, and LSU should have a lot of success.
Alabama has lost games because of its defensive secondary, and LSU will test this group. If the Tigers throw the ball, it should put much pressure on Alabama’s offense.
Jalen Milroe was one of the Heisman favorites at the beginning of the season, and these odds have faded. However, Milroe is still the most explosive player on the field for Alabama, and he will be forced into winning with his arm.
The quarterback’s passing line is 229.5, which is low for a game that we expect to be a shootout. Milroe has thrown for 1,937 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions this season.
He has the 12th-best QBR in the country and has hit the over in three of his past five games. If LSU can force Alabama to score, Milroe will fly over 230 yards.

For Milroe to surpass 229.5 passing yards, Ryan Williams must perform well. He is Alabama’s best receiver, and in the past few weeks, Milroe has leaned on him in high-leverage situations.
Williams is 17 years old and has been dominating the SEC as a true freshman. He has caught 35 passes for 702 yards and seven touchdowns.
What makes Williams unique is his ability to stretch the field. He averages over 20.1 yards per reception, which allows him to hit his receiving line quickly.
His line is 66.5 yards on Saturday, and he has gone over the total in three of his past five games. Williams has shined in prime time and has a great chance to stay hot against LSU, a team that hasn’t dominated on defense.
