DJ Uiagalelei will play for his third program in five years
Hawaii hosts Delaware State in the late game on Saturday night
Preston Stone will make his 2024 debut at Nevada
Week 0 has arrived, and there are four games on the Saturday slate. DJ Uiagalelei and the Florida State Seminoles start the day with a Saturday kickoff in Ireland.
The Yellow Jackets aren’t expected to be that good this season, but laying 11 points with the Seminoles in a different country could be challenging. Player props are an excellent way to attack Week 0 because we can bet on stars with experience.
We believe a few players will shine on Saturday, and we’re placing these bets on bet365 Sportsbook. As a special offer, bet365 gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $150 in bonus bets. This deal is available only through our exclusive bet365 link.

Florida State had a disappointing end to the 2023-24 season after getting smoked by Georgia in the Orange Bowl. The Seminoles went 12-0 but were left out of the College Football Playoff because of an injury to starting quarterback Jordan Travis.
The Seminoles are expected to be on a revenge tour. They enter the season as the 10th-ranked team in the country. Uiagalelei has a lot of experience as a quarterback, and they should lean on him a lot this season.
We’re betting on Uiagalelei to go over 239.5 passing yards. Bookmakers expect the Seminoles to dominate Georgia Tech, and it will be due to their passing attack. Georgia Tech had an average passing defense one season ago, but the Seminoles' experience should help Uiagalelei surpass his line.
Uiagalelei didn’t have many breakout performances at Oregon State last year but lacked talent. This year, Florida State returns Kentron Poitier, Ja’Khi Douglas, and Hykeem Williams, so look for this group to start early and often.

Georgia Tech will likely be forced into throwing the ball on Saturday, but the passing attack shouldn’t be successful. The Yellow Jackets want to eat clock to win games, and they don’t have an elite passing offense.
Haynes King is never a quarterback for whom we want to take over bets. Last season, King threw for 2,842 yards and 27 touchdowns, but he also had 16 interceptions.
He went under this line four times to end the 2024 season, and Florida State returns an excellent defense. One season ago, the Seminoles had the second-best passing defense in the ACC, allowing just 170.4 yards through the air.
Even if King is forced to air out the ball, we don’t trust him to surpass 190.5 yards.

Preston Stone could be the best quarterback in action throughout Week 0. Stone threw for 3,197 yards and 28 touchdowns last season. He had the 30th-best QBR in America at 71.6.
Stone is in his RS junior season at SMU but has only one year as the starting quarterback. SMU has an outside chance of making a lot of noise in its debut ACC season, but it will take a tremendous campaign from Smith.
Smith’s line is 290.5, a lofty total in Week 0, but we don’t anticipate SMU attempting to run the ball. Nevada had one of the worst defenses in the NCAAF Mountain West last season and didn’t improve in the transfer portal.
They allowed 442.8 yards per game, the worst in the conference. They also had the worst passing defense in the league, surrendering 254.1 yards per game. Stone should have a field day in the season opener.
