  • Texas, Ohio State, Penn State, and Notre Dame are the final teams left in the CFP

  • Texas beat Arizona State in double overtime

  • Ohio State hasn’t allowed a sack in the CFP

The College Football Playoff has reached the semifinals, so four teams are left standing. Penn State will face Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl on Thursday.

The winner will punch their National Championship ticket and face Ohio State or Texas. These two blueblood programs will battle in the Cotton Bowl on Friday night.

Ohio State has been dominant in beating Tennessee and Oregon before halftime in their first two games. The Buckeyes have been on a mission since losing to Michigan, and they should dominate once again.

We have targeted props in each game to target. We’re taking a few of the best players in the tournament to dominate on FanDuel Sportsbook, one of the best platforms for betting on the College Football Playoff bracket

New customers who place a $5 bet can get $200 in bonus bets. FanDuel also has plenty of promotions for the College Football Playoff, so be sure to register your FanDuel account, today.

Best College Football Semifinal Prop Bets

Riley Leonard Anytime Touchdown (-110) at FanDuel

Riley Leonard struggles to throw the ball, which is evident based on recent results. Leonard threw for 2,383 yards this season, which isn’t close to the remaining quarterbacks in college football.

The quarterback threw for 90 yards against Georgia, averaging just 3.8 yards per attempt. He was only sacked once and barely was trusted to throw the ball.

Leonard has hurt the opposition with his legs in 2024. They haven’t needed to throw much because they’re one of the best teams in the country at playing with a lead.

When you play with a lead, you have the luxury of running the ball, and Leonard has benefited drastically. We don’t believe Notre Dame will have significant leads in this game, but it should be close for most of the contest.

The Irish should be able to run the ball without being forced to pass. Additionally, this team doesn’t settle for field goals in the red zone.

Notre Dame should lean on their quarterback’s legs, and if this is the case, we believe the quarterback will find the end zone. He is -110 to score on FanDuel, which is an excellent price for a mobile quarterback.

Jeremiah Smith Anytime Touchdown (-120) at FanDuel

Jeremiah Smith is only a freshman, but he would be the first overall pick in the draft if he were eligible this season. Smith has hauled in 70 catches for 1,224 yards with 14 touchdowns.

Smith is a deep ball threat, averaging 17.5 yards per reception. The receiver is elite at pulling down contested catches, many of which lead to touchdowns.

Smith has been a nightmare in the College Football Playoff. He caught six passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns against Tennessee.

Smith was even better against the Oregon Ducks when he had seven receptions for 187 yards with two touchdowns.

Ohio State OC Chip Kelly has been throwing the ball at will, which should occur again. If the Buckeyes keep the same approach, Smith could score multiple times in this contest.

Will Howard Over 247.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel

Will Howard has been one of the most underrated quarterbacks in college football. He has proven that he can play against the best competition and elevates his play against quality teams.

Howard has thrown for 3,490 yards with 32 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season. He has the second-best QBR in the country at 87.3.

Howard has posted massive numbers in the College Football Playoff, connecting with his stars, such as Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka.

At times this season, Chip Kelly has leaned on the run more than he should with NFL receivers. This hasn’t been the case over the last two games.

Kelly trusts Howard to air the ball down the field, and he has hit his 247.5 line in both playoff games thus far. Howard threw for 311 and 319 yards over the past two weeks and is in for another big performance against a Texas secondary that hasn’t been tested.
