Texas and Oklahoma will battle in the Red River Showdown
Ohio State will face Oregon in a Top 5 matchup
The NCAAF SEC will be on full display this weekend with many marquee matchups, including Texas vs. Oklahoma in the Red River Showdown. These former Big 12 schools are set to put on a show at the Texas Fairgrounds.
In the Big Ten Conference, Ohio State will face Oregon. Both teams are expected to make the playoffs, but only one team in the conference will receive a guaranteed bid, making this game critical.
We have targeted a bet in each game with a lot of value, and we’re placing these wagers on bet365 sportsbook. As a special offer, bet365 gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $200 in bonus bets. Use our promo code WSN365 during sign-up process and claim this exclusive deal.

The Texas Longhorns enter the Red River Showdown as the top team in college football. They jumped to #1 in the AP Top 25 poll after Alabama lost to Vanderbilt last Saturday.
Texas hasn’t played the most challenging SEC schedule yet but has dominated and earned style points in nearly every victory. The Longhorns' only ranked win came against #10 Michigan on September 7.
Texas rolled to a victory in the Big House 31-12, but the Wolverines have fallen to 24th, so the quality of this win is in question. Even though Texas is a two-touchdown favorite against Oklahoma, the Red River Showdown is known for being high-scoring, close football games.
The biggest storyline for the Longhorns heading into the week is that Quinn Ewers will make the start following missing time with a side injury. Ewers is expected to be one of the top picks in the NFL Draft this season, and he has an edge that many quarterbacks can’t match in college football.
Arch Manning did an excellent job taking control of the team without Ewers, but there is no denying who owns this team in 2024. Ewers has thrown for 691 yards on the season with eight touchdowns and two interceptions.
Jackson Arnold will look to lead the Sooners to a victory this weekend. He hasn’t been great, but he can make all the throws necessary to beat Texas.
The quarterback has thrown for 538 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions. While these games are usually close, the Longhorns are playing at a much higher level than the Sooners heading into the Red River Showdown.
Lay the points with Texas, and expect Ewers to light up the scoreboard.

The Oregon Ducks have been overlooked drastically heading into their first Top 5 matchup against Ohio State. The Buckeyes are a talented team, but they haven’t played anyone.
The Big Ten is a top-heavy conference, so judging either program heading into Saturday is difficult. Ohio State and Oregon have one common opponent: Michigan State.
Ohio State beat the Spartans 38-7, while Oregon won by 21 points. Each team had similar stats against Michigan State, which should make this game very intriguing.
Oregon is a 3.5-point favorite, and while their defense can be shaky, we believe their offense is more potent. Dillon Gabriel has thrown for 1449 yards this season and 11 touchdowns.
The Ducks also have an elite run game behind Jordan James, who has 88 carries for 552 yards and five touchdowns. Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins has also been exceptional this season for the Buckeyes, carrying the ball 60 times for 468 yards and five touchdowns.
Each team has a solid run game, but we believe Gabriel has the passing edge over Will Howard. If Oregon can get some momentum early in this game, there is no reason they shouldn’t be viewed as a legitimate contender.
The Ducks have all the talent in the world, and they’re getting three points at home in this contest. We recommend jumping on this line as soon as possible because it’s bound to move back toward the Ducks.
Take the points with Gabriel and hope for a big offensive day from the Ducks.
