Ohio State’s only loss in 2024 was to Oregon by one point in Eugene. In last week’s contest, the Buckeyes defeated Nebraska by four points in a game where the offense looked sluggish. 

The Buckeyes were held to 64 rushing yards, and the Nittany Lions have a great rush defense. 

Penn State is coming off a great win at Wisconsin, improving its record to 7-0. The Nittany Lions are certainly looking to make the College Football Playoff regardless of this outcome, but we think they have a great chance of winning.

Will Howard must play a perfect game for Ohio State to have a chance of winning this game. The Buckeyes do a great job of mixing in the run game with the pass, but the Nittany Lions will be prepared.

Wisconsin is coming into this game hungry after a loss to the Nittany Lions. The score did not indicate how close this game was, as the Badgers had a few critical turnovers that ultimately lost the game. 

Quarterback Braedyn Locke has done a spectacular job of replacing Tyler Van Dyke as he was injured earlier in the year.

We expect Wisconsin’s defense to be ready for this matchup, as they know what to expect from Iowa’s offense. Look for them to contain Johnson and keep up with Iowa to cover the 3.5 points on the road.
