Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is averaging 208 rushing yards per game.
Indiana will be without starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke against Washington.
Vanderbilt is 11th in time of possession with 231 total minutes (33 per game).
Week 9 of the college football season is here, and we have plenty of fantastic matchups slated, including Texas, coming off a loss, against the darling Vanderbilt Commodores, who beat Alabama earlier this season. This game is part of this parlay.
Looking at last week’s edition of the parlay, we got the win. I took Oregon at -27.5, Miami’s moneyline, and Colorado at +3.5.
Colorado beat Arizona outright, Miami beat Louisville, and Oregon beat Purdue 35-0.
Below is a three-leg parlay featuring Boise State, Washington, and Vanderbilt. The parlay odds are +505.

Friday has a phenomenal matchup from the Mountain West Conference with Boise State taking on UNLV on the road.
These are the top two contenders for the Mountain West Conference title.
UNLV is 6-1 and 5-2 against the spread this season, while Boise State is 5-1 and 3-2-1 against the spread this season.
If you look at both defenses, they’re nearly identical.
Boise State pass defense: 276.3 passing yards per game (123rd)
UNLV pass defense: 278.7 passing yards per game (125th)
Boise State run defense: 105.7 rushing yards per game (22nd)
UNLV run defense: 104.4 rushing yards per game (19th)
UNLV has allowed two more rushing touchdowns this season, and here, they’re taking on Ashton Jeanty, who’s undoubtedly the best running back in the country. He averages 208 rushing yards per game and nearly 10 yards per carry.
UNLV also has an excellent quarterback, Hajj-Malik Williams, who’s been thrown for three touchdowns in three of his last four games. He also has four rushing touchdowns over his last four games.
This is going to be an extremely close game. It could even go to overtime here.
I just rely on Jeanty even more in this matchup.
He’s the type of player that’ll overcome an opponent's run defense. He’s matchup-proof.

Indiana is 7-0 and hosting Washington who’s 4-3.
Indiana has been a massive storyline in college football this season, but they’re in for a tough matchup here, especially without quarterback Kurtis Rourke.
In his place will be redshirt sophomore, Tayven Jackson.
The Huskies allow 143.3 rushing yards per game (tied for 66th) and have the best pass defense, allowing just 123 yards per game. They’re also allowing just 4.7 yards per attempt.
Jackson is a quarterback who can stand in the pocket and scramble. He transferred to Indiana in 2023.
Washington has one of the best passing attacks in the offense, averaging 294.6 yards per game and have 15 touchdowns. Conversely, Indiana allows just 180 passing yards (24th) per game.
It’ll be intriguing to see how Indiana approaches this game against a stiff pass defense.
I trust Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti to get the win at home, but it’ll be close, and Washington will cover.

Vanderbilt is at home here and hosting Texas. They’re 5-2 this season, while Texas is 6-1.
Texas was the No. 1 team in the country, and they simply couldn’t run the ball against Georgia, totalling less than 30 yards.
Vanderbilt's run defense isn’t exactly the same quality as Georgia's, but it allows just 116.3 rushing yards per game (tied for 37th).
Texas has shown to have a great defense. While they lost to Georgia, they didn’t allow a passing touchdown and picked off Georgia quarterback Carson Beck three times.
Texas has still only allowed one passing touchdown this season. Against the run, they’re allowing 104.3 rushing yards per game (18th) and five rushing scores.
I think Texas will win this game, for sure, but the Commodores have shown that they can handle the time of possession with their rushing attack, including quarterback Diego Pavia. In fact, they rank 11th in time of possession, averaging 33 minutes per game.
He’s had 13 carries or more in his last five starts.
Look for Texas to win by about 10 on the road.
