Ohio State is allowing just 10.7, the second least in the country
Miami (Ohio) is taking on Kent State, a winless team that’s allowing 46 points per game, the most in the country
Penn State takes on Purdue this week, coming off a 45-0 loss against Ohio State
Week 12 of the college football season has arrived, and the regular season is starting to wind down.
While the Week 10 parlay was a total disaster, Week 11 paid off with a win.
The Ohio State Buckeyes beat Purdue 45-0, covering the 37.5-point spread; the Ole Miss Rebels beat the Georgia Bulldogs outright, and Nevada covered the spread against Boise State, losing by seven.
I’m looking at Ohio State again, Miami (Ohio), and Penn State this week.

Over the last three games, Northwestern has scored 14 points or less in two of them. In the other game, they beat Purdue 26-20 in overtime.
Purdue is 2-8 this season and one of the worst teams in the country.
Northwestern allows 241.1 passing yards (100th) per game. They’ve been solid against the run but haven’t played a team at the caliber of Ohio State.
Against Indiana earlier this season, they allowed 149 rushing yards and 380 passing yards, including three passing scores.
Ohio State is averaging 38.6 points, while Northwestern is down at 19.2.
We also need to look at the defenses. Ohio State is holding a team to a mere 10.7 points per game, which is second-least in the nation.
The Buckeyes have a loaded roster with several talented receivers, including freshman Jeremiah Smith, two NFL-caliber running backs, TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, and a quarterback, Will Howard, who’s completing 74% of his passes and has three rushing touchdowns over the last five games.
The stats could point to Northwestern covering, but the Buckeyes have a far better roster than anyone else Northwestern has played.
Get ready for a massive blowout.

Let's make one thing clear: Kent State is the worst team in college football.
This week, they take on Miami (Ohio), a team averaging over 23.2 points per game while Kent State is down at 15.1.
Kent State is just 2-7 against the spread this season, while Miami (Ohio) is 4-5.
Kent State was shut out last week against Ohio (no, not Ohio State) and scored just six against Bowling Green.
Miami (Ohio) quarterback Brett Gabbert has thrown three touchdowns or more in three of the last four games.
Kent State is allowing 263.8 rushing yards (last) and 263.1 passing yards (119th) per game. They’re also allowing more than two passing touchdowns per game. Their offense is equally bad, with just 74.3 rushing yards (last) and 161.3 passing yards (125th) per game.
Meanwhile, Miami (Ohio) is allowing 194.1 passing yards (32nd) per game.
Look for Kent State to get beat up on here in a massive way on the road. They allow a
It’s simple: Kent State can’t defend, and their offense can’t do anything, while Miami (Ohio) has a solid pass defense and a quarterback who’s played well lately.

Purdue has been shutout in two of the last three games, losing to Oregon and Ohio State.
Next up, they have another Big Ten juggernaut, Penn State.
Penn State’s defense lets up just 14 points (eighth least), 169.2 passing yards (13th), and 100.1 rushing yards (10th) per game.
The key to Penn State’s offense is the ground game. They average 196.2 rushing yards (30th) per game, while Purdue gives up 199.9 (118th) per game.
Purdue’s has one of the worst offenses in the nation, averaging just 18 points (127th) per game.
This is going to be just like Oregon and Ohio State—Purdue can’t stop anything, especially the run, while Penn State’s defense pitches a shutout.
