When it comes to picking a winner in this game, it’s hard to ignore the Huskies deficiencies on defense compared to how dominant the Wolverines have been this season. The Huskies allow over 137 rushing yards and 267 passing yards per game. The passing yardage total is 121st in the country. The Wolverines have Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards at running back, and while they average 218.9 passing yards per game, that total is so low only because they haven’t needed to pass the ball as much.
Michael Penix Jr. is easily the best quarterback they’ll have played this season, as Washington leads the nation in passing yards per game.
Washington will certainly be a tough out here, but the Huskies defense might not be able to slow down the Michigan offense enough while the Wolverines, who allowed just 150 passing yards and less than 11 points per game, will win some series against this Huskies offense.

Corum is -320 to score a touchdown, which is absurd but warranted. As mentioned, the Huskies allow nearly 140 rushing yards per game, and this season, Corum has had a rushing touchdown in every game (25 total) and one receiving touchdown. He gets the ball so often (237 carries this year) that there’s no way he doesn’t find the endzone here.
Look for Corum to score again for at least his No. 27 on the season.

Looking at another Michigan player, we like Roman Wilson to hit the endzone.
This season, Wilson has seen 63 targets, caught 45 of them, and has had 735 yards and 12 touchdowns, including two in his last three games. He’s also been targetted 20+ yards downfield on 27% of his targets.
These numbers bode well for his matchup with Mishael Powell.
Powell has allowed 48 receptions for 432 yards and two touchdowns this season. He’s been targeted 65 times.
Look for Wilson to get targetted consistently throughout this one, including downfield, against a defense that allows 267 passing yards per game.
