The Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder are the top teams in the Western Conference. When they face off on Wednesday night, the winner can gain an edge over the other in the standings. The Warriors came out on top the first time they played the Thunder this season, so expect a hard-fought contest.
The Golden State Warriors are ranked fourth in the NBA this season, with a 12-5-0 record. They have a 70.6% win percentage, a +7.8 margin of victory, and a +4.1 ATS +/- through 17 games.
The Warriors have lost back-to-back games and have yet to cover the spread in their three matches. The Thunder presents an intimidating offense empowered by Gilgeous-Alexander and Williams. Still, they look to the Warriors to capitalize on Oklahoma City’s lack of paint defense with Holmgren out, as they did in their last meeting when they hit 21 threes.

Jalen Williams has stepped up for the Oklahoma City Thunder lately, doing his best to compensate for a six-man injury report. Given the opportunity, he has thrived and has been on a fantastic scoring run lately.
Appearing in 17 games for the Thunder this season, Williams is averaging 22.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.1 threes per game on 52.3% shooting efficiency. In his last match, a win over the Kings, Williams posted 28 points, five assists, four rebounds, and three made threes while shooting 62.5% from the field.
Williams has been excellent, scoring over 23.5 points in eight of his 17 showings while averaging 26.4 points over the past two weeks. He had a modest 20 points in his last match against the Warriors, but expect him to improve on that mark with the opportunity to expand their lead on the Warriors in the West.

In his eleventh professional season, Andrew Wiggins has rediscovered his form and has been essential to the Warriors’ recent success. When he takes on the Oklahoma City Thunder, Wiggins will look to build on his recent positive run of play.
In 15 appearances this season, Wiggins is averaging 17.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.1 threes per game on 48.1% from the field and 41.3% from three-point range. He was solid in the Warriors’ recent loss to the Nets, putting up 18 points, five rebounds, and two made threes on 53.8% shooting.
Wiggins has been on point with his three-point shooting this season, converting over 1.5 attempts in ten of his 15 appearances. The Thunder are one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. Still, without their talisman shot-blocker available in the paint, Wiggins should have the opportunity to convert plenty of threes on Wednesday night.

Buddy Hield has cooled down after his red-hot start to the season, but he remains a crucial cog in the Golden State Warriors offense. When he takes the court against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Hield will once again lead the Warriors off the bench.
In his ninth professional season, Hield is averaging 15.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 threes per game on 45.9% from the field and 43.0% from three-point range. He struggled in his previous match, a loss to the Nets, where he put up just nine points on three of 12 shooting.
Despite his recent downturn in form, Hield has still scored over 10.5 points in 12 of his 17 appearances this season. The Thunder present a difficult challenge for the Warriors but expect the veteran Hield to bounce back as he capitalizes on a Thunder squad missing their best paint defender.
