The NBA Summer League's eighth day begins on Friday night. Teams are jockeying for position to reach the top four standings and advance to the playoff round. While some squads have reverted to a different lineup to give players a chance, others are desperate to prove themselves as the best in the Summer League.
One of the key matchups to watch on Friday is between the Spurs and Sixers, with the former aiming to reach the top of the standings with a 4-0 record. Also, watch the Miami Heat, who face a struggling Toronto Raptors team. However, the night's highlight will be a match featuring the Warriors and Thunder, where Golden State is expected to reintroduce their most potent lineup in hopes of pushing for the Summer League playoffs.

The Mavericks are in a similar boat, as they’ll try to earn their first win of the summer league in their final game.
Atlanta Hawks Key Players: Robert Baker, Jarkel Joiner, Keaton Wallace
Chicago Bulls Key Players: Matas Buzelis, Julian Philipps, DJ Steward
Winless through three games, the Atlanta Hawks will try to salvage a win against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night. Giving time to their deeper lineup of players, the Hawks put up a good fight despite losing their last game by just one point, behind Robert Baker and Jarkel Joiner's combined 34 points. The Bulls will try to find a win after losing their previous game, in which they committed 16 turnovers and shot 5/21 from three.
Philadelphia 76ers Key Players: Jared McCain, Jeff Dowtin Jr., Ricky Council
San Antonio Spurs Key Players: Sidy Cissoko, Jamaree Bouyea, Riley Minix
On Friday night, the undefeated San Antonio Spurs take on a surging Philadelphia 76ers team. When the Sixers take the court, they'll work behind Jared McCain, whose two-way tenacity has been vital to his team's success despite their shooting struggles. The Spurs have found victory despite some lineup changes, but having held out some of their key players, it's difficult to see them overcome the Sixers on Friday night.
Toronto Raptors Key Players: Javon Freeman-Liberty, Branden Carlson, Ja’Kobe Walter
Miami Heat Key Players: Kel’el Ware, Pelle Larsson, Isaiah Stevens
The Miami Heat have been on a tear through the Summer League. Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors’ hot start was hampered by injury. The Heat are coming off a 13-point win, where rookie center Kel’el Ware led the way with 24 points and 10 rebounds. On the other end, the Raptors struggled without Gradey Dick and Jonathan Mogbo in the lineup, despite a strong 24-point showing from Javon Freeman-Liberty.
The undefeated Golden State Warriors and winless Oklahoma City Thunder face off in the penultimate game of their Summer League schedules. The Warriors have been excellent, recently earning an 11-point win in a match that didn’t feature their standout contributors. The Thunder will try to bounce back from a poor showing in their previous game, losing the fourth quarter by eight points despite leading upon entering the final frame.
