Reed Sheppard aims to lead his Rockets to a second victory after putting up 23 points and four threes in his Summer League debut. However, after putting up 12 points, seven rebounds, four blocks, and two threes in the Wizards’ Day One victory, Alexandre Sarr will be of the same mind in favor of Washington.
San Antonio Spurs Key Players: Stephon Castle, Sidy Cissoko, Jamaree Bouyea
Atlanta Hawks Key Players: Zaccharie Risacher, Mouhamed Gueye, Dylan Windler
The San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks are the second matchup of the day to feature two top-five picks from the 2024 NBA Draft. The San Antonio Spurs are on the second leg of a back-to-back, and they hope Stephon Castle can lead them to victory after a 22-point outing in his debut. The Atlanta Hawks are looking for their first victory after losing by six in their opening game, where first-overall pick Zaccharie Risacher contributed 18 points, five rebounds, and three threes in 29 minutes of play.
Toronto Raptors Key Players: Gradey Dick, Ja’Kobe Walter, Branden Carlson
The Denver Nuggets hope to earn their first win of the Summer League against a Toronto Raptors team who put up the most significant win differential of Day Two. Led by Julian Strawther’s 25 points, the Denver Nuggets failed to keep pace with their opponents on Day One and lost their opener by ten points. The Toronto Raptors were prolific in their first game, winning by 25 points with five double-digit scoring contributors – led by incoming sophomore Gradey Dick’s 18 points, ten rebounds, and six assists.
Chicago Bulls Key Players: Matas Buzelis, Adama Sanogo, Julian Phillips
Golden State Warriors Key Players: Brandin Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Daeqwon Plowden
The Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors aim to earn their second win of the Summer League! Chicago is coming off a win in their first game where their tenacity continually helped them to the free throw line – led by Adama Sanogo’s 17 points, 12 rounds, and three steals off the bench. The Warriors earned a 17-point win in their first game, as their scoring pace couldn’t be matched behind Brandin Podziemski’s 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three made three-pointers.
