The Charlotte Hornets and the LA Clippers will face off on Tuesday night, as the NBA’s Boxing Day schedule has created this inter-conference matchup. It projects to be a one-sided affair, as the shorthanded Hornets face a Clippers team aiming to push for the top of the conference.
The LA Clippers have posted an ATS Record of 14-15-0 this season, a 48.3% cover percentage, a 4.0 margin of victory, and a +0.2 ATS +/- through 29 games. They are led by two-time NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, averaging 24.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 52.1% from the field and 42.9% from three while missing just two games this season.
The Clippers’ injury list has Mason Plumlee (Knee) and Moussa Diabate (Hip) as out and unavailable for this matchup. Kawhi Leonard (Hip) is listed as day-to-day and didn’t play in LA’s last game. Frank Ntilikina (Leg) and LaMelo Ball (Ankle) will be unavailable for the Hornets on Tuesday night, while Mark Williams (Back) and Brandon Miller (Ankle) are listed as day-to-day.

Terry Rozier's contributions have often gone unnoticed in recent seasons while playing for the Charlotte Hornets, a team that has yet to garner much attention. However, with point guard LaMelo Ball sidelined due to injury, Rozier has assumed control of the Hornets' offense, elevating his offensive output to maintain the team's competitiveness.
Throughout the season, Rozier has maintained an average of 23.2 points, 7.1 assists, and 2.6 three-pointers, showcasing shooting percentages of 46.4% from the field and 35.8% from beyond the arc. Despite his absence in the Hornets' recent loss to the Denver Nuggets, Rozier consistently stands out as the offensive driving force for the team.
In 11 out of his 17 games this season, Rozier has made fewer than 2.5 three-pointers. Although the sample size is limited, considering the formidable perimeter defense of the LA Clippers, it doesn't bode well for a promising shooting night for the Hornets' point guard.

Ivica Zubac gets the least attention out of his LA Clippers starting compatriots despite appearing in every game for his team this season. Through 29 appearances, Zubac has averaged 12.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game, leading his team with 63.4% shooting from the field.
Zubac has cleared 9.5 rebounds in 11 of his 29 appearances this season. While his rebounding production has taken a dip this season, he projects to thrive against a Hornets team that is one of the worst in the league on the glass.
