The Chicago Bulls were expected to compete for a top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft this season. Instead, they’ve found their way into eighth place in the Eastern Conference and look like a Play-In team, at the least. Taking on the sliding Pacers on Friday night, the Bulls have an opportunity to climb the standings further.
Through 23 regular-season games this season, the Chicago Bulls have posted a 12-11-0 ATS Record, ranking them 14th in the NBA. They have posted a 52.2% cover percentage, a -3.5 margin of victory, and a +1.4 ATS +/- this season.
The Bulls have covered the spread in three straight games and four of their last five. The Indiana Pacers are struggling but remain a squad that wants to push the pace. Expect the Bulls to oblige, as their offensive versatility carries them through this match.

The big man of the Chicago Bulls, Nikola Vucevic, has been as consistent as ever in his 13th professional season. He takes on a Pacers team that will try to run him out of the gym, while he will try to limit their break opportunities by challenging them in the half-court.
Through 22 games, Vucevic is having his best scoring season in four years, averaging 20.9 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.2 threes per game on 58.2% shooting. He’s also a regular contributor on the glass, putting up 21 points, ten rebounds, and three threes in the Bulls’ previous match, a win over the Nets.
Vucevic’s presence on the glass is essential to their success. He has collected over 10.5 rebounds in 11 of his 22 games this season. The Pacers are shorthanded in the frontcourt this season due to injury, so expect Vucevic to command the glass on Friday night.

Myles Turner, one of the league’s best stretch big men, has struggled for the Pacers this season. While he’s been productive on the defensive side of the ball, he’s lacked the spark on offense that has fueled the Pacers’ past success.
Through 21 games this season, Turner is averaging 15.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, and 2.0 threes per game on 47.4% from the field and 39.8% from three. In his last game, a loss to the Nets, Turner put up 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one three in 31 minutes of play.
Turner isn’t getting the same looks he did last season, scoring under 16.5 points in 15 of his 21 appearances for the Pacers. The Bulls aren’t known for their defense, but Turner’s recent shooting slump won’t be remedied by matchup alone. If he can’t manufacture his opportunities, expect Turner to continue his struggles.

Josh Giddey hasn’t greatly improved his production, but he’s thrived as a playmaking hub for the Chicago Bulls. Giddey will try to carry over his excellent form from his last match when he takes on the depleted Pacers on Friday night.
In his fourth season, Josh Giddey is averaging 12.1 points, 6.9 assists, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.2 threes per game on 44.4% from the field and 33.8% from three. He’s coming off one of his best games of the season, putting up 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists on 52.9% from the field.
Giddey’s best quality is his playmaking, having collected over 6.5 assists in 13 of his 22 appearances this season. Surrounded by quality scorers, Giddey has been able to focus on his passing game, and against the Pacers’ uptempo offense, he will have plenty of chances to create opportunities for his teammates.
