Kawhi Leonard Points Over 22.5 (+100) at DraftKings Sportsbook
Kawhi Leonard returned to the LA Clippers' lineup, but it didn’t help them go up 2-0 in the series. You could say he needs time to acclimate after missing so many games, but at the moment, the Clippers can’t afford him that time.
Playing through his 12th NBA season, Leonard averaged 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 threes per game through 68 regular season performances. In his return to the lineup on Wednesday, Leonard put up 15 points, seven rebounds, and four steals in 35 minutes.
Leonard is a +100 to score over 22.5 points on Friday night. He’s cleared 22.5 points in three of his last five games. After a subdued Game 2 performance, expect Leonard to return to his top form in hopes of sending the Clippers up 2-1.
James Harden Rebounds Over 5.5 (+114) at DraftKings Sportsbook
James Harden stepped up in Kawhi Leonard's absence, but with the star man back, Harden is in an advantageous position. Willing to contribute everywhere on the court, Harden has been impressive with his efforts.
Finishing his 15th NBA season, Harden averaged 16.6 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.1 rebounds through the regular season. In Game 2, he contributed 22 points, eight assists, and six rebounds on 42.% shooting.
Harden is a +114 to score over 5.5 points on Friday night. He has eight rebounds through two games and has cleared 5.5 boards once this series. With Leonard back in the lineup, he has focused on a more varied approach, which makes this prop a great opportunity.
Luka Doncic Points Under 33.5 (-102) at DraftKings Sportsbook
As always, Luka Doncic is the man to watch for the Dallas Mavericks. Through his two postseason games so far, Doncic is expected to maintain his production when the series shifts to Dallas.
Continually improving his game, Doncic is averaging 33.9 points, 9.8 assists, and 9.2 rebounds per game on 48.7% shooting. In the Mavericks’ Game 2 win, he scored 22 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and five threes on 42.3% shooting.
Doncic is a -102 to score under 33.5 points on Friday night. He’s scored under 33.5 in both games this series and has done so in just two of his last five games. Despite his numbers, the Clippers' defense is working its hardest on Doncic, so expect him to remain relatively modest offensively—at least by his standards.
Kyrie Irving Assists Over 4.5 (-102) at DraftKings Sportsbook
Kyrie Irving continues to prove he’s the NBA’s ultimate sidekick. He has been crucial in Dallas’ postseason series against the Clippers. The veteran guard has a tall task ahead of him, as the Clippers are sure to try to limit Doncic to take control of the series.
Irving has been excellent this season, scoring 25.6 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 49.7% from the field and 41.1% from three-point range. In the Mavs’ Game 2 victory over the Clippers, Irving scored 23 points, six rebounds, three assists, and four threes in 42 minutes of play.
As we look forward to Game 3, the anticipation for Irving's performance is high. Despite not yet reaching over 4.5 assists in this series, the shift to Dallas and the Clippers’ defensive focus on Doncic are expected to provide Irving with the opportunity to showcase his playmaking skills.
