Moneyline: Dallas Mavericks (-144) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics continue their NBA Finals rivalry on Wednesday night. The Celtics lead the series 2-0, but home court advantage and a possible injury to a key Celtics contributor have pushed the odds in Dallas’ favor. The Mavericks will be desperate for a win when the action tips off.

Through 101 regular and postseason games, the Dallas Mavericks have posted a 62-39-0 record. That ranks them fifth in the NBA, with a 61.4% win percentage, a 2.2 margin of victory, and a +0.8 ATS+/-. The Mavericks have won two of their last five games.

Despite his return for the NBA Finals, Celtics big man Kristaps Porzingis (Lower Leg) has been listed as questionable to play Game 3. Luka Doncic (Chest) is listed as day-to-day for the Mavericks but probable for Game 3 in Dallas.

Jayson Tatum Points Under 26.5 (-112) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Jayson Tatum has struggled through the first two games of the NBA Finals. Despite his status as the Celtics’ star player, he hasn’t performed near those standards. While Tatum’s teammates have compensated for Tatum’s struggles, he must bounce back to overcome Dallas on their home court.

Through the postseason, Tatum has averaged 24.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.1 threes on 42.6% from the field and 28.9% from three-point range. In his last match, a Game 2 win, Tatum put up 18 points, 12 assists, nine rebounds, and one three on 27.3% shooting and 14.3% from beyond the arc.

Tatum is a -112 to score under 26.5 points when he faces the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. He has scored under 26.5 points in four of his last five games and 11 of his 16 playoff appearances. Tatum’s struggles have been exacerbated by the efforts of Dallas’ wing players, so while he may improve off his talent alone, we don’t expect an offensive explosion.

Luka Doncic Points Under 32.5 (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Despite his efforts through the first two games of the NBA Finals, Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks are still without a victory. The Mavericks All-Star has been immense through the NBA Playoffs, but it hasn’t been enough to earn a win in the NBA Finals. Back on his homecourt, expect Doncic to thrive on offense – as usual.

In 19 postseason games, Luka Doncic has averaged 29.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 3.4 threes per game on 44.6% from the field and 34.8% from three-point range. In Dallas’ Game 2 loss, Doncic put up 32 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, and four threes on 57.1% shooting and 44.4% from deep.

Doncic is a -114 to score under 32.5 points when he faces the Celtics on Wednesday night. He has scored under 32.5 points in three of his last five games and 14 of his 19 postseason appearances. Desperate for a victory, or they’ll be on the brink of elimination, expect another stellar performance from Doncic.
