Chicago Bulls vs. Sacramento Kings Betting Pick

The Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings enter this matchup with eyes on victory as they try to capitalize on the second leg of a back-to-back. The Kings are coming off an upset win in their last match, but the Bulls put up a more substantial fight than expected in theirs. Expect a strong showing from DeRozan against his former team. While the Bulls' offense has proven competent, the Kings will have the edge, given their depth.

Chicago Bulls Preview

The Chicago Bulls enter this match with the Sacramento Kings on a loss. They’ve won six of their last ten games and still hold the ninth seed in the East, with a five-game safety net from falling out of Play-In Tournament positions.

While they’re far from the most efficient team in the NBA, the Bulls are talented offensively. Scoring 116.5 points per game (9th of 30) with 28.7 assists (7th of 30) and 15.5 made threes (3rd of 30), the Bulls are dangerous from every area on the court. The defensive end causes them issues, as seen in their last game, a loss to the Suns, where they allowed 127 points on 49.0% from the field and 37.5% from three.

In 69 regular season games, the Chicago Bulls have posted a 34-33-2 ATS Record, ranking them 13th in the NBA. They have a 50.8% cover percentage, a -3.3 margin of victory, and a +0.7 ATS +/-.

Nikola Vucevic remains a consistent force for the Chicago Bulls, averaging 18.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.8 threes per game on 52.9% from the field and 39.0% from three-point range. He’s coming off his best performance in five games, putting up 24 points, six rebounds, four made threes, and three blocks in a loss to the Suns–expect him to thrive with Sabonis out for the Kings.

Sacramento Kings Preview

The Sacramento Kings earned an upset win over the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers in their last game. They’re now 5-5 over their last ten games and sit firmly within Play-In Tournament positions.

An offense-first team, the Sacramento Kings are excellent inside the arc. They score 116.5 points per game (8th of 30) on 47.8% shooting from the field (10th of 30) while scoring 30.7 two-point field goals per contest (4th of 30). The quality of their offense was felt when they outlasted the Cavaliers in their last game, scoring 123 points on 50.5% shooting while hitting 16 threes on 45.7% efficiency.

Through 68 regular season games this season, the Sacramento Kings have posted a 28-36-4 ATS Record, ranking them 26th in the NBA. They have a 43.8% cover percentage, a +1.0 margin of victory, and a -1.9 ATS +/- this season.

DeMar DeRozan leads the shorthanded Kings on Thursday night, averaging 22.2 points, 4.1 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game on 48.6% from the field and 35.6% from three. In the Kings’ win over the Cavaliers, DeRozan led the way by putting up 27 points, four assists, and two made threes on 52.6% shooting.
