Last in the Eastern Conference and owning one of the worst perimeter defenses, the Orlando Magic are just biding their time until the lottery balls fall.
The Nets on the other hand are motivated and coming off of a big win where Durant starred. Brooklyn should take the victory.

The Orlando Magic will have their hands full when they take on the Brooklyn Nets. Against one of the league’s most talented scoring outfits, the Orlando Magic need to be wary of the pace that the Nets set.
In victories, the Nets actually play at a slower pace but are more efficient from the field. Brooklyn shoot 49.8% from the field, while assisting on an average of 27.3 of their 43.6 field goals when they are victorious.
Orlando, who like to play at a higher pace, need to outwork the Nets. If they can create enough opportunities to make up for their lack of scoring talent, they would still have a chance.

The Orlando Magic season is basically over, but if there’s something they can gain as the season comes to a close it is the development of big man Wendell Carter Jr. Putting in one of the best season’s of his career, Carter Jr. has a bright future ahead.
In his last game, a narrow loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Carter Jr. posted 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks on 10 of 19 shooting from the field. As an added bonus, Carter Jr. added 2 three-point field goals to his stat line.
Carter will be asked to do more than man the paint against the Nets, as Brooklyn are a fantastic shooting team from all ranges. If he can move his feet and recover, the Magic defense can create a real chance at victory.

The Orlando Magic may be lacking in terms of overall talent, but they still present a unique threat of their own when they face off against the Nets. In order for Brooklyn to win, they’ll need to overcome Orlando’s length.
In victories, the Orlando Magic are able to shut down their opponents with their length. They are able to hold their opponents to 41.7% shooting from the field and 30.4% from three-point range.
Brooklyn are one of the league’s best mid-range shooting teams, but they’ll need to move the Orlando defense around if they hope to claim victory. If the Nets are able to create good shooting opportunities for their role players, they should find a win.

As the Brooklyn Nets continue to try and get into playoff position, it has been Kevin Durant who has led the way for them. In his last match, Durant continued to show why he is one of the NBA’s most dangerous players.
In his last game, a win over the New York Knicks, Durant was unstoppable. The Nets superstar posted 53 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds to lead Brooklyn to victory. He shot 19 of 37 from the field, but only converted on 4 of 13 three-point field goal attempts.
Against a team with one of the league’s worst perimeter defenses, Kevin Durant should be excellent. While he may not reach the same scoring heights as his last game, expect his playmaking to take the spotlight.
