The weekend has arrived, and my NBA player props are here to get the party started.
Josh Giddey put up 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists and hit a halfcourt shot to beat the Los Angeles Lakers as the buzzer sounded, while Tyrese Haliubrton led the Indiana Pacers to a whopping 162 points in regulation.
Friday’s schedule gets underway with the Detroit Pistons against the Cleveland Cavaliers and closes out with the Denver Nuggets facing the Utah Jazz.
Here are my top five NBA player props and a same-game parlay for Friday night.
Additionally, be sure to check out our prediction for the Cavaliers vs Pistons matchup.

Credit where credit is due, the New York Knicks have done an outstanding job of taking away the three-point shot recently, leading the league in fewest three-point makes allowed per game. However, without Damian Lillard in the lineup, Lopez and the other top members of the supporting cast will need to step up.
Lopez went over this line in three straight and in four of his last five games and shot 42 percent from long range in March. He went under in both meetings with the Knicks thus far, but he shot the ball well and just took 17 field goal attempts in a matchup with the Denver Nuggets.

Injuries to Jalen Brunson, Miles McBride, and Cameron Payne have paved the way for Kolek to get uncharacteristic playing time on the court. He took advantage of that opportunity to dish out seven, nine, and eight assists in his last three games despite playing only 18 or 19 minutes in each of those.
The Bucks only ranked about league-average in assists allowed per game over the last month despite improving their defense at multiple levels. Kolek has been extremely productive in limited minutes and is playing well, so there’s a solid chance he will get even more minutes on the court in Friday’s matchup.

Booker is not having the best go of things in recent weeks as he went under this line in three straight and in six of his last eight games and only averaged 22.8 points in March. He also shot worse than 39 percent from the floor in consecutive games and has to go against the tough defense of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Wolves let Booker go over this line in two of three meetings, but they held him to 17 points on 5-12 (41.7 percent) shooting when they last met on March 2. They also ranked seventh in points allowed per game over the last month, and while the Phoenix Suns have started to play better, that’s largely been because of Kevin Durant, not Booker’s success as a scorer.

The Beard went over in nine of his last 11 games and even had a 50-point game against the Pistons in that mix. He averaged 26.4 points on 38.7 percent shooting from three-point land in March and gets to face the Brooklyn Nets, who he dropped 21 points and 11 assists on in just 23 minutes in their only previous meeting.
The Nets ranked 13th in points allowed per game over the last 30 days, but Harden is on fire and had a great game the last time he met the Nets, who are also a former team of his. It also helps that Kawhi Leonard is looking like his usual self and attracting more attention from opposing defenses.

Grand Theft Alvarado has been playing solid minutes, but he went under this line in seven straight and in 12 of his last 14 games. He also only shot 35.2 percent from the floor in March and is about to take on the Golden State Warriors, who play strong defense and have newfound size with Jimmy Butler in the backcourt.
Alvarado hasn’t seen the Warriors since October, but the Dubs ranked eighth in points allowed per game over the last 30 days. They also allowed the 10th-fewest made threes and third fewest three-point attempts per game during that time, which shows their commitment to running their opponents off of the perimeter.

-Phoenix Suns at Minnesota Timberwolves (-7)
Jaden McDaniels under 5.5 rebounds: He went under in three straight games, while the Suns allowed the fewest rebounds per game over the last 30 days.

Kevin Durant 25+ points: He went over in four straight, shot 52.4 percent from three in March, and went over in both matchups with the Timberwolves.
