There are just about 20 games left in the NBA regular season, and I’ve cooked up a list of my favorite NBA prop bets and same-game parlay picks for Thursday’s schedule.
Derrick White and Payton Pritchard made history last night as both dropped 40+ points in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers, while James Harden’s 50 points helped sink Cade Cunningham’s 37, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds in an eight point win for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Thursday’s slate of games begins with the Chicago Bulls heading south to face the Orlando Magic and is highlighted by the New York Knicks facing the red-hot Los Angeles Lakers in the City of Angels.
Here are our favorite NBA player prop bets for the day’s events.
Additionally, be sure to check out our prediction for the New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Lakers matchup.

Thompson went under in back-to-back games due to uncharacteristically inefficient shooting splits as he did not make a three and only went 34.8 percent from the field. That directly juxtaposes his 54.6 percent standard for the year but also is not the end-all be-all since most of his shots come around the rim.
The Houston Rockets are about to take on the New Orleans Pelicans, who allowed the fifth-most points per game and who gave up at least 121 points in three straight games. Thompson is playing tons of minutes and will get plenty of opportunities against one of the worst defenses in the sport.

Towns will return to the lineup after he missed some time with personal issues. With that weighing on his mind and a cross-country trip to Los Angeles, he faced a tough battle rebounding from a stretch that saw him go under this line in three of his last four games.
The New York Knicks’ big man is still as efficient as ever from long range, but he only took 4.8 three-point attempts per game for the year and went 1-2 from downtown the last time he faced the Lakers. LA has also been the best defensive team in the league for nearly two months and has shown a willingness to double- and triple-team their opponents’ best players and to run them off the three-point line.

Just because Joel Embiid is out does not mean that a center needs to score a bunch of points, okay? Drummond scored four points on 1-5 shooting and went under in nine of his last 12 games and in four of his last six in games in which he played at least 20 minutes.
Drummond scored eight points the last time he faced the Boston Celtics, who lead the league in points allowed to opposing centers per game. This also doesn’t feel like a high-minutes game for Drummond, considering the C’s are stuffed with versatile wings who will want him in mismatches.

Moody went under in four straight games but went over in five of six just before that, and while more consistency would be appreciated, I have faith in him tonight. He dropped 15 points in just 16 minutes the last time he faced the Brooklyn Nets and played about 28 minutes per night since the start of February.
The Nets are a strong defensive team and rank 10th in points allowed per game, but the increased focus on Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler means that Moody gets more favorable defensive coverages. He also went over in 13 of the last 14 games in which he made multiple threes, which makes that the key point of emphasis on Thursday.

Banchero is simply so hot shooting and scoring the ball that I don’t foresee him looking to get his teammates going all that much. The 22-year-old dropped 41 points on 70 percent shooting in his last game, mirroring his 41-point effort against the Golden State Warriors less than a week before that.
Banchero went under this line in six straight games prior to his last outing and now takes on the lowly Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are just 24th in assists allowed to opposing power forwards per game, but the Magic are injured and shooting the ball horribly as a team, which should make it tough for Banchero to go over.

Tyrese Haliburton under 3.5 rebounds: He went under in 10 of 13 games, and the Hawks have been much better on the glass as of late.
Myles Turner 2+ threes: Turner is having a career year from three and went over in seven straight, while the Hawks are 26th in three-point percentage allowed.
Pascal Siakam over 3.5 assists: Has been trending under but had five assists in his last matchup with the Hawks, who are 21st in assists allowed per game.
