There’s only one way to beat the unforgiving winter months, and that’s with nonstop action on the hardwood, and our best NBA prop bets for Wednesday.
The Denver Nuggets trounced the Philadelphia 76ers 144-109 behind Nikola Jokic’s fourth straight triple-double, while Karl-Anthony Towns’ 25 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists inspired the New York Knicks’ in-state victory over the Brooklyn Nets.
Here are our best NBA player prop picks for Wednesday.

Curry only managed 18 points in a 40-point loss to the Boston Celtics his last time on the court. But as much as the Golden State Warriors seem to be trying to sabotage his final years of great basketball, he went over this line in six of eight games and averaged 25.6 points per game in January.
Curry, very unsurprisingly, shot 43.2 percent from three-point land in the New Year and only played 27 minutes in his last game because of the blowout. The Sacramento Kings are 19th in points allowed per game and 25th in three-point percentage allowed, and Curry went over this line in his only matchup with them this season.

Mitchell dropped 33, 36, and 35 points in three of his previous four games, and is the leading man on what is on pace to be one of the best teams in NBA history. The catch is that he recently played the stellar defense of the Oklahoma City Thunder twice, and they held him to an average of 9.5 points on 19.4 percent shooting.
The Houston Rockets aren’t quite the Thunder, but they rank third in defensive rating and fourth in points allowed per game. Mitchell also averaged 23.3 points and went under this line in seven of 10 games, even despite his recent hot streak.

Dinwiddie has taken on a larger role in the Dallas Mavericks offense ever since Luka Doncic was lost to an injury. Despite that, he only managed three assists in 31 minutes in his last game and went under this line in four straight games and in six of nine games in January.
The Minnesota Timberwolves rank fourth in assists allowed per game and keep their opponents to the sixth-lowest field goal percentage in the league. Dinwiddie had two assists in both matchups with the Wolves this season and hasn’t shown any signs of being able to consistently get over this line.

Murphy’s evolution as an NBA player has been fun to track, and he’s now at the point that he averaged 25.3 points per game in January despite not shooting the ball all that well. A return to his usual level of efficiency and he should fly over this line, but he can still get over even with an average day.
The 24-year-old scored 24 points in his last game and went over this line in six of his last eight games. He also went 4-10 from three his last time on the court and gets to go against a Milwaukee Bucks squad that is ninth in points allowed per game, but that is 22nd in three-pointers allowed per game.

Richards played two games for the Phoenix Suns after he was traded by the Charlotte Hornets, starting off with 11 rebounds in 29 minutes but regressing to four in 22 minutes his last time out. He averaged 7.5 rebounds per game for the year and went under this line in 12 of his last 14 outings.
We expect Richards to usually find the middle ground between four and 11 rebounds, but that would likely still put him under this line. The Brooklyn Nets are also fourth in rebounds allowed per game, so it’s unlikely that he posts a gaudy box score when he takes the court on Wednesday.
