The start of a new week is the start of new opportunities, and we have several that we’re eyeing in the NBA prop betting market on Monday.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers will make their returns to the court tonight, while the New York Knicks were the biggest winners of Sunday following their 36-point win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Without further ado, here are our best NBA player prop bets for Monday night.

Best NBA Prop Bets for Monday, January 13

Kawhi Leonard 2+ Threes (+120) at FanDuel

Leonard made his season debut on Jan. 4 and went over in both of his appearances this season, sinking five triples in 10 attempts. That’s despite only playing 20 average minutes, which should increase as he gets more time on the court under his belt and especially after seven days between games.

The Klaw shot better than 41 percent from three the last two seasons and is currently shooting a career-high in threes per minute, albeit in a very limited sample size. The Miami Heat are also just about league average in made threes allowed per game.

Austin Reaves Under 7.5 Assists (-156) at FanDuel

The 26-year-old guard only managed one assist in a pathetic showing in LA’s last game against the Dallas Mavericks. He still recorded double-digit assists in five of his last seven despite that, yet we believe that he has a great chance to go under this line.

With all of the rest under their belt, there’s a solid chance that LeBron James will be the man dictating LA’s offense. Reaves also went under in both of the Lakers’ matchups with the San Antonio Spurs, who rank ninth in assists allowed per game, this season.

Kyle Kuzma Under 15.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel

The phrase “Kuz Control” now means something different than it did before. The former NBA champion scored 11 total points in his last two games and shot worse than 45 percent from the field in four straight games, helping him go under this line in seven of his last nine games.

Kuzma’s battles with injuries caused him to lose his rhythm on the court, and the Washington Wizards no longer view him as their primary or even their secondary scoring option. The Wiz are also taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves, who rank fourth in points allowed per game.

Ausar Thompson Under 14.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-106) at FanDuel

Thompson has not seen a ton of minutes recently and still is nowhere near NBA level as a jump shooter, meaning that he needs to score nearly all of his points at or around the rim. He averaged 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game for the year and has nearly identical numbers in January.

Thompson went under in four of his last five and played 20 minutes or fewer in seven of his last 10 outings. The Detroit Pistons are also taking on the New York Knicks, who are second in rebounds, eighth in points, and 12th in assists allowed per game.

Terry Rozier Under 1.5 Threes (-106) at FanDuel

Rozier is shooting a dreadful 15.2 percent from three-point land in January, picking up right where he left off when he shot 25.5 percent from three in December. He’s now at 29 percent for the year and went under this line in eight of his last nine games.

The Los Angeles Clippers rank fifth in three-point percentage and sixth in three-point makes allowed per game. LA is going to be extremely rested due to its recent layover, which should result in them playing even stingier defense against the Miami Heat and the struggling Rozier.
