The Cleveland Cavaliers took down the Oklahoma City Thunder 129-122 last night in the second matchup in NBA history between two teams with records of at least 30-5, while Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard shone in their matchup with Victor Wembanayama and the San Antonio Spurs.

Best NBA Prop Bets for Thursday, January 9

Isaiah Collier Under 13.5 Points+Assists (-130) at FanDuel

Collier, the 29th pick in the draft, isn’t anywhere near developed enough to warrant heavy minutes in the NBA. He shot a putrid 30.7 percent from the field and 15.2 percent from three, so even with Keyonte George unavailable, we wouldn’t expect to see him get a ton of action.

Collier went under this line in six straight games and in six of seven games without George on the court. He averaged 3.0 points and 5.8 assists in 22.2 minutes per game in 2025 and is facing a Miami Heat team that allowed the eighth-fewest points per game.

Julius Randle Under 1.5 Threes (-128) at FanDuel

Randle did not make more than one three in a game in three straight and in five of his last six outings. He shot a decent 35.8 percent from three for the year, but he also averaged 1.7 made threes per game and has a terrible matchup ahead of him.

The Orlando Magic give up the fewest made threes per game overall, to forwards, and to power forwards. They should also be buoyed by the return of Paolo Banchero either tonight or tomorrow and will play gravy defensive personnel with Franz Wagner, Mo Wagner, Jalen Suggs, and Gary Harris all unavailable.

Ja Morant Under 34.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-113) at FanDuel

Rarely do players return from injuries playing their best brand of basketball, which is one of the reasons we’re fading Morant in his return from a two-week shoulder problem. He also went under in five straight games and only played 27.7 minutes per game and 25 or fewer in his last two games, a number that could be lessened even further since he is coming back from an injury.

The Memphis Grizzlies are taking on the Houston Rockets, who allowed the second-fewest assists, third-fewest points, and ninth-fewest rebounds per game. Morant also went under in his only meeting with Houston this season, scoring 24 points but managing just two combined rebounds and assists.

Immanuel Quickley Under 5.5 Assists (-142) at FanDuel

Quickley went under in five of seven appearances this season, including his two most recent games against the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Toronto Raptors are also on a horrible losing streak and are a horrific 1-16 on the road, while the Cavs are 19-1 in their building.

Cleveland is ninth in assists allowed per game overall and to opposing point guards. Quickley went under in his only meeting with the Cavs, albeit in limited minutes, and his team isn’t shooting the ball well as of late—not to mention this could turn into a blowout and limit his minutes on the court.

Cade Cunningham Over 6.5 Rebounds (+110) at FanDuel

Cunningham, on the cusp of his first All-Star team selection, averaged 6.6 rebounds per game. Although he went under in four straight and in nine, yes, nine of his last 10 games, we expect him to cash the over on Thursday night.

The Detroit Pistons are facing the Golden State Warriors, who are 28th in rebounds allowed to opposing point guards and 24th in overall rebounds. Cunningham has a clear size advantage over Golden State’s backcourt, and the latter’s tendency to take lots of threes should lead to longer rebounds.
