Don’t worry, you aren’t the only one counting down the days to the College Football Playoff semifinal and the NFL playoffs—but to help kill time, we’ve picked our favorite NBA player props for Tuesday.
The Sacramento Kings extinguished the Miami Heat in double-overtime last night, while the Orlando Magic continued to prove themselves as one of the hardest teams to beat by taking down the New York Knicks on the road without their three best players.
Here are our best NBA betting picks for Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Kuzma dropped a season-high 28 points against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, but we’re not going to overreact to what has proven to be an outlier performance against one of the worst defenses in the NBA. He still went under this line in three of four games since he returned to action on Dec. 30.
Kuzma shot just 26.9 percent from three for the season and isn’t taking many threes at all. He is also yet to play more than 31 minutes since his return and is going up against a Houston Rockets team that allowed the third-fewest points per game.

Murray is widely respected across the league, but he’s having his worst season in many years. After scoring at least 20 points per game for the last three seasons, he averaged just 15.4 per night on a pitiful 36.5 percent from the floor and 24.7 percent from beyond the arc.
The former San Antonio Spur and Atlanta Hawk went under this line in nine straight games, including two games against the league-worst defense of the Washington Wizards. Now, he gets to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves, who allowed the fifth-fewest points per game in the league.

Thompson is having himself a solid year in his first season in Dallas, averaging 14.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 38.5 percent three-point shooting. However, he now has to take on a new role with both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving injured and out of the lineup.
Thompson recorded exactly three assists in two games since his star teammates went down with injuries, but he went under this line in five of his last eight. He’s also facing a Los Angeles Lakers team that has gotten much better on defense, partially because of the addition of Dorian Finney-Smith, and that ranked third in assists allowed per game over its last three games (since Finney-Smith joined the roster).

The Baby-Faced Assassin is only averaging 22.5 points in 31.1 minutes per game, making this his lowest scoring season since his third year in the league. He still has explosive outings, but he went under this line in exactly five out of his last 10.
Curry and the Golden State Warriors are facing the Miami Heat, who rank eighth in points allowed per game and eighth in points allowed to point guards per game (23.9). Curry has been very up and down and only went over by a half-point in his last game despite shooting 66.7 percent from the field, so we expect him to come down a bit tonight.

Williams can quietly be one of the most efficient players in the league. He went over this line in four of his last five games and averaged 14.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two games to start January.
Williams and the Charlotte Hornets are preparing to take on the Phoenix Suns, who are on the second night of a back-to-back and who rank 25th in points allowed to opposing centers per game. The Suns also aren’t playing either one of their centers, Mason Plumlee and Jusuf Nurkic, heavy minutes, which will leave more space for the towering figure to clean the glass.
