The NFL playoffs and College Football Playoff semifinal are still days away, which means that today, we’re focused on finding the best NBA player prop picks.
The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the headlines on Sunday as they held the reigning champion Boston Celtics to a measly 27 second-half points in a 14-point win. The Houston Rockets also held off the Los Angeles Lakers’ late charge to hold onto the second seed in the Western Conference.
Here are our best NBA betting picks for Monday, Jan. 6.

Anthony recently earned more minutes in the rotation due to players missing games ahead of him. Despite that, he went under this line in seven straight games and is shooting just 32.4 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from three in 2025.
The Orlando Magic are taking on the New York Knicks, who rank fourth in points allowed to point guards per game. Anthony already played the Knicks three times and, although he did not play many minutes, failed to score more than 10 points in any of those instances.

Bridges was brought to the Knicks for the purposes of defense and three-point shooting, not rebounding. That’s been reflected by his season averages, which include 18.4 points but only 3.3 rebounds per game.
Bridges went under this line in eight of his last nine games and did not get more than two rebounds in any of his three contests with the Magic. Orlando is only average at limiting rebounds against forwards despite allowing the fewest rebounds per game overall, but Bridges has not found any success on the glass in his matchups with this opponent thus far.

Three games into his second stint with the Brooklyn Nets, Russell averaged 12.7 points, 8.0 assists, and 2.0 rebounds. He went under this line in two of those three games and only played 14 minutes in a blowout loss to the Philadelphia 76ers his last time on the court.
The Nets are taking on the Indiana Pacers, who are 10th in assists and 15th in points allowed to point guards per game. They also ranked 10th in field goal percentage allowed over their last 10 games, which means that it should be difficult for a Nets team bereft of talent to convert a lot of potential assists.

Rozier averaged 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 40.3 percent shooting for the season overall. He went under in four of his last five games and went under despite scoring 16 points last Thursday, which is a positive sign heading into Monday’s contest.
Rozier did not make a three in three straight games and only shot 38.9 percent from the field last month, leading to an average of 11.2 points and 2.1 assists. The Sacramento Kings have not done a good job against guards this season, but Rozier has been struggling lately and does not seem keen on reversing his fortune.

Durant only scored 25 points in his last outing, but he averaged 27.6 points for the season and 28.8 points in December. He also made 64.3 percent of his shots his last time on the court and shot an ultra-efficient 51.6 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from three for the season.
The Suns are taking on the Philadelphia 76ers, who have shown defensive improvements as of late, but who also rank 28th in points allowed to forwards per game. Kelly Oubre Jr. is also injured and could miss the matchup, which would take away one of Philly's best wing defenders.
