While most of the world is getting ready to turn the calendars ahead to 2025, we’re looking for the best NBA player props on Friday.
Jaden Ivey converted a game-winning four-point play at the end of the fourth quarter to seal the Detroit Pistons’ comeback win against the Sacramento Kings, while Scoot Henderson drilled a turnaround jumper with 0.1 seconds remaining to steal a win against the Utah Jazz.
With some of the game’s best and brightest set to take the court on Friday, here are the player prop betting picks we have our eyes on.

Da Silva went over this line on Thursday but went under in five straight games before that. He’s also on a streak of 12 unders in his last 14 games and is about to play the second night of a back-to-back after he played 39 minutes in a hard-fought loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday.
The Orlando Magic allow the fewest rebounds per game to their opponents, but the New York Knicks are just behind in second and at 40.8 rebounds per game. Da Silva has proven that he isn’t a force on the boards and is about to get a tough matchup with one of the league’s best on the glass.
Murray averaged 7.4 assists per game and went over in five of his last seven games, yet we still like his under in this spot. He only managed four assists in his last outing and had six in his only previous matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Nov. 29.
The Grizzlies are also on the second night of a back-to-back but won so comfortably that they didn’t have to play their starters heavy minutes yesterday. They also allow the fifth-fewest assists per game and posted the fourth-best defensive rating in the league.
Schroder only averaged 4.0 assists per game and went under in all four games as a member of the Golden State Warriors. He will have a larger role in the offense on Friday since Stephen Curry is out with injury management, but Schroder doesn’t look like he has a grasp on how the Warriors want to play.
Golden State is taking on the Los Angeles Clippers, who rank seventh in assists allowed per game. The Warriors are also just 23rd in made field goals per game in December and will be at an even greater disadvantage without Curry on the court, which means there should be fewer assists to go around.
Johnson, one of the benefactors from Schroder’s trade from the Brooklyn Nets, averaged 6.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. He went over in three straight games but was quiet immediately before that and still averaged 8.2 points and 3.6 rebounds for the month.
Johnson and the Nets are facing the San Antonio Spurs, and while they haven’t been great on defense or on the glass, Johnson is still shooting just 34.2 percent from the field and 28 percent from three this season. That lack of efficiency is too much for us to ignore.
Jokic averaged 12.6 rebounds and swallowed up 20 boards in his only previous matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers this season. He also had 15 rebounds in a Christmas Day loss to the Phoenix Suns and went over in six of his last nine outings.
For all of the size that the Cavs have in their frontcourt, they are only 19th in rebound rate and 12th in rebounds allowed to opposing centers per game. Jokic is used to wearing his do-it-all cap for this team, was excellent the last time they played, and knows he needs to be at his best against the league leaders in the standings.
